Bernie’s Espresso

My husband and I tried the Specialty lattes (Cookie Butter & Samoa). Both were excellent! We’re close to Haiden’s coffee in Elkton and find the coffee there superb. This wasn’t as close but was worth the little drive to try it! Excellent quality coffee and the flavoring was delicious. Would strongly recommend. I think this is my favorite so far in DE. M Staff was also very friendly.

Got a matcha with strawberry syrup. The syrups are all pre-made and artificial. The Matcha was alright but definitely did not taste like ceremonial grade. Either it was watered down or the quality wasn’t as high. For walkability from the train station, it gets the job done but nothing to rave on about.

While visiting daughter, after my morning runs Bernie's Espresso was my finish line & reward. Heather, the owner, she is very friendly & helps you make the toughest coffee decisions! She has soooo many sugar-free options. First day, i had sugar-free caramel with cinnamon hot latee. But the sugar-free iced chocolate rasberry....I'm in love!!! And atmosphere is very chill. Highly recommend.

A perfect start to the morning! Had an early start and decided to walk along the Riverfront. I came across the Riverfront Market and treated myself to a matcha lavender blackberry tea, absolutely delicious and refreshing. A great find before the day began!

This is the BEST COFFEE SHOP IN DELAWARE! It’s super close to the Riverfront and walking distance to Amtrak! If you arrive early into Wilmington take a walk over and grab a delicious cup of coffee or homemade lemonade (if available) also grab a bagel or any available pastry!
