Amina was very welcoming when she greeted us. The place was very clean, had a pleasant atmosphere, and the pastries were delicious. Highly recommend!

We love the Milk Cake (Molochnaya Devochka) and Berry Cake, but there is a massive freshness gap compared to the how original Almaty cakes tastes. The Milk Cake is great because it sells fast, but if you don't get it in the first half of the day other cakes to try, or if you try the less common flavors like Napoleon, red velvet, Cherry, or Oreo, it’s a hit-or-miss on them. Simple Honey cake is always good as well. We recently bought a Napoleon for a party this Saturday in Jan 2026 and it was clearly not fresh—a big disappointment for a home welcome, discussed excessively between Kazakh guests. It seems the cakes that don't sell as quickly sit in the fridge too long and lose all their moisture. About 1/3 of the time, we notice the slices are dry from over-refrigeration. The store needs a 1-2-day maximum rule for all versions to maintain quality. Instead of keeping them longer. I'm giving 4 stars because we want the shop to improve and match the high standards we know they are capable of!

It was my first time in Houston, and after a long, tiring trip, I wanted something light to eat. I stopped by this place and the first thing I noticed was the bright, cozy interior and the great selection of cakes.
