Alma Provisions

Crema's Take
“Alma Provisions is a charming neighborhood spot that shines for its exceptional pastries—think buttery apple galettes and perfectly executed egg sandwiches—paired with genuinely great coffee, though the small griddle and shared seating with neighboring Brasa can feel a bit cramped during busy times. It's the kind of place that rewards a leisurely sit with a latte and pastry, or works perfectly for a quick grab, but you might want to ask about the combined seating setup when you arrive since it's not always obvious how it works. Locals rave about the quality of everything here, from the baked goods to the breakfast sandwiches, making it easy to understand why first-time visitors immediately wonder how they'd never discovered it before.”

The co-seating with brasa is fine, but it can feel a little awkward if brasa starts to get busy with diners and you are wanting to nurse a coffee. The egg sandwich was $11 and the frittatta was $10, neither came with sides. This is a case of quality over quantity. They were both very delicious- absolutely had happy taste buds. They also mention on their site their prices reflect the fact that they pay their employees such that tips are not expected.
I don't post reviews often, but OMG I just gobbled down an Apple Galette pastry that I got from Alma Provisions this morning and it was delish. A perfect treat with my latte (also great)! I love this friendly neighborhood spot!
Lovely spot for coffee, pastries and sandwiches. I had never been here and my friend brought me- I can't believe I never knew about it before!!!! Cute sitting area. I got the bacon egg sandwich and it was SO good. Coffee was delicious as well. Highly recommend!
They have an interesting setup with Brasa next door. More clear signs for the system would be great because we weren’t sure if the seating was combined or how it worked. I tried the Up South egg sandwich, which was really good. I don’t normally like pimento cheese, but the flavors were amazing together. The lavender latte sadly didn’t have any flavor and I wouldn’t get coffee there again. The annoyed vibes from the staff that day were a little off putting and they forgot half our order for the group.
Alma is the best little neighborhood coffee shop/cafe/goodies trove. The pastries are *chefs kiss, everything is honestly great. Keep in mind that the griddle and the coffee bar are small spaces, and when it’s busy you might have to wait a little bit for your order. Give them time to cook up the masterpiece. It ain’t starbys! The barista can only pull 4 shots at a time—that’s one large drink. The staff is super friendly with a lot of personality. It’s the perfect place to pull up, hang out, have a snack and sip some caffeine. Highly recommend!
