Crema's Take

Tucked into South Lake Tahoe's mountain landscape, this spot strikes that perfect balance between a quick caffeine pit stop and a cozy refuge for lingering—ideal whether you're fueling up before a snowboard run or settling in with a book by the fireplace. The baristas clearly care about their craft, offering thoughtful espresso drinks and pour-overs alongside surprisingly excellent breakfast fare like prosciutto and balsamic toast that elevates the whole experience beyond typical coffee shop fare. There's a genuine warmth to the place that matches its mountain vibe, where both the drinks and the team's helpfulness make it feel like a natural gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.

Drink Coffee Do Stuff was a perfect stop before our snowboard run. We grabbed our morning coffee there, and it was great. The place is cozy with a fun mountain vibe, a great spot to fuel up before hitting the slopes

Decided to try this spot on our last day in Tahoe before heading back. The space is clean, and they’ve got a nice selection of drinks. I asked about their latte options and the barista was helpful. Knocking off two stars for a couple of reasons: 1. No prices on the whole-bean bags. When I asked, I was given a pretty wide range ($18–$35). I grabbed the only bag that actually had a price listed by the register - $23 (photo attached). When it rang up as $24, I mentioned the discrepancy. The cashier shrugged and said it must be tax…but the receipt showed it wasn’t. I suggested updating the listing since it’s misleading, and they just shrugged again. 2. Long wait for drip coffee. The barista told me it would take about 5 minutes since she was brewing a fresh batch. Totally fine. I waited at the pickup counter, but a noticeably long time went by while the barista and another employee chatted with friends. Eventually I heard her say, “Oh, she’s waiting for her drip!” and then quickly hand it to me. Overall, it was an okay experience. I’d recommend better customer service training and clearly displaying prices for retail items

All doors open with the natural gas fire place ON makes absolutely no sense to me, I couldn’t enjoy the atmosphere/decor , or even the fire place because it was so cold inside.. other than that the coffee was delicious ~ Bergamont lavender latte.. yum

Yes, when arriving at SLT, walk the talk as they suggest. Firstly we head to this location for starting our program with a decent coffee, which they served as promised. After ticking the “caffeine box” nicely, we then moved on and did the other planned stuff. Thanks for the nice coffee and keep up.

The team here is top notch. My prosciutto & balsamic toast was a masterpiece 🧡 and the overnight latte oats were delicious. I mixed the two for some bites and it took the whole thing to the next level. Thank you for the free sticker too! Can't wait to go back and try more and just relax here again. Great for locals to walk to and tourists to get delicious food and coffee while in Tahoe paradise. 🐾💙
