Crema's Take
“Tucked inside a vintage bowling alley, this spot serves up a genuine 1950s diner experience complete with the quirky charm (and occasional bowling alley aroma) that comes with the territory—a nostalgic time capsule where regulars linger over chicken fried steak and eggs after a few frames. The breakfast hits different here, especially the French toast, and the retro atmosphere makes it perfect for leisurely weekend mornings or Friday bowling night hangouts, though service can be hit-or-miss depending on who's working the counter. If you're seeking an authentic old-school diner moment with solid comfort food and don't mind a little vintage grit, this is worth the trip.”

It hasn't changed in all years it's been open. Smells like an old bowling alley. Ran in to have breakfast. I got the rib eye and eggs with a side french toast. I recommend the French toast but would skip the steak. It was thin and slightly overcooked. Hubby got the breakfast burrito. Good size and amount of food inside. He said it's one of the better ones in the area. Service was good. I think he name was Sarah. Older woman and very friendly. She treated us like we regulars. We'll be back so we can try some things we saw on the menu.
Brooo. The cashier was so rude. I was waiting for a friend who was stuck in traffic, so sat in the cafe and ordered an iced tea. Was told I needed to order food or they would kick me out. Place was not even busy. I told him I would order food when my friend arrived, he said that was fine but he might need my seat if it got busy. It was absolutely dead. Like two other parties in the whole place and he still kicked me out. Love Linbrook but will absolutely bring my own food cause never ordering from here again.
Nice bowling alley & 50's-esque diner inside. Lots of lanes, & new bowling shoes. AC is runnin hard, which to me stood out as a plus, ha.
Cashier/server was rather rude (short Mexican/Asian looking guy). We went in around 4:30 ordered coffee (one of the worst coffees I have ever had too), 5:30 the place emptied up and it was me and my date sitting chatting, he tells us “hi, there is an hour time limit policy, you guys need to go ”. And they close at 6! Like you couldn’t wait another half hour before kicking us out? Plus I am sure the 1 hour policy is for when the place is packed, which it was obviously empty at that time. How rude. Never going there again.
I come here on Fridays after bowling. I enjoy the chicken fried steak and eggs. The waitress is very friendly and accommodating. Food is good and comes out hot which I appreciate. The only reason this isn't a 5 is that they don't open until 10am which is a little late for breakfast.
