Crema's Take
“Tucked in Boulder, this beloved tea destination doubles as an immersive factory experience where you can witness tea crafting firsthand and sample small-batch blends like their standout pumpkin tea. The friendly, knowledgeable staff and thoughtfully curated tour make it feel less like a retail stop and more like a genuine celebration of tea culture—whether you're a devoted sipper or a curious newcomer who just wants to spend an hour exploring something unexpected. It's the kind of place where families linger over tastings and original artwork, turning a simple visit into a memorable afternoon.”

I LOVED!!!! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I loved being able to see the original artwork and get some free tea tastings, everything I tried was yummy but the pumpkin tea was my favorite. Their gift shop has any tea you could ever need. I bought the lemon and honey blend and my boyfriend bought the berry sampler. I loved seeing the sleepytime bear in person. Such a cute place !!
If you're going to take the tour through the tea factory it's worth your time. However, if your going to purchase teas pots or accessories, they don't have the selection they used to have. They are over priced on what they do have. The tea room is nice, but not what it used to be. They had a few baked goods in their tea room, didn't look very fresh. Tea samples were ok although not very hot and the sample area was quite messy. Staff is friendly, show room is clean and inviting. Tea products are priced well with good selection. Staff
I’m not a tea drinker, but I always enjoy a good factory tour and the Celestial Seasonings tour in Boulder did not disappoint! The experience was fun, informative, and really well put together. Even as someone who doesn’t normally drink tea, I loved getting to sample all of their different blends. The staff was welcoming, the atmosphere was great, and it was a unique stop that I’m really glad I made. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Boulder!
Well this was just delightful! For a few bucks, this was easily an hour's worth of information, entertainment, and sampling. The tour was really informative, and our tour guide had a good sense of humor. The gift shop has way more than just tea for purchase, and things are reasonably priced. The samples were great! They'll give you as much as you want. Bonus tip: Don't miss the photo ops in the tasting room with the sleepytime bear. (Sexy husband not included!)
My family and I visited on August 6, 2025. It was my second visit (first in 1998). It was even better than I’d remembered. The movie before the tour was great and very informative. The tour was interesting and our guide was enthusiastic and friendly. The gift shop is amazing and the employees were very attentive. Everyone loved being able to sample as many teas as they liked. It was so much fun for all. We all walked away with several flavors we’d never seen in the grocery stores. Everything is presented in such a lovely manner with all the artwork and teapots. I highly recommend anyone in the area paying a visit to this local treasure.
