Better Buzz Coffee Encinitas

I had to leave a review for one of the baristas tonight. As someone who has Tourette’s, going into busy public places can sometimes feel stressful, but the barista who helped me out also has Tourette’s. She told me about some treatment options she used and even recommended me a famous Tourette’s specialist in the area, which I will definitely be checking out! My drink was made perfectly, and the service was quick and friendly. 5 stars!!⭐️

I wanted to get some yummy coffee, and the place looked inviting with large windows, but unfortunately it fell very short of my expectations. The guy who was helping me was less than enthusiastic to be there, and it showed. The coffee — an Americano with coconut milk — was okay, but not a good Americano by any means. My friend ordered the iced mint latte, and I didn’t taste an ounce of mint in it. The coconut milk had no surcharge, but other non-dairy milks do. I believe it's a local coffee shop, but it felt more like a gimmick to me than anything else. It’s a very busy place and aesthetically looks cool, with lots of natural light, but my coffee didn’t meet the vibe of the place. Also, unfortunately, the place didn’t have any vegan pastry options. CC accepted.

Better Buzz Encinitas is the BEST!! Not only do they have the most delicious drinks and the tastiest food, they also have the friendliest team! Highly recommend stopping by. Hot take, add the cinnamon cold foam to your iced drink - game changer.

The “Banana Pudding” Best Drink Ever was a big disappointment, not a good start for my first visit to this shop. Banana flavoring was weak and almost unnoticeable. I think there was a caffeine aspect to the mix. Whatever it was, it was not pleasant. The waver was typical taste. Service was fair. Not likely to go back there.

I made a quick shop at the Cake House and wanted a morning coffee. Better Buzz was right across the street and looked like a good place for a brew. Plenty of tables and seating for those who want to enjoy their brew at the shop. The coffee shop was clean and inviting. The young lady that took my order was friendly and professional. I usually order a flat white but the shop didn’t offer those so I got standard latte. Foamy, thick and tasty the latte made for a good morning watching the waves at Moonlight sipping my latte and smoking a nice pre roll. I recommend Better Buzz when in the area. Tip: the benches in the parking lot above Moonlight Beach are a nice spot to enjoy your morning water or not you are 4:20 friendly.
