Ruckus Cafe

Crema's Take
“Tucked into Pittsburgh's neighborhood scene, this spot has earned serious loyalty for its seasonal drink creativity and full breakfast-and-lunch menu that feels genuinely made-to-order rather than cookie-cutter. The vibe strikes that rare balance of being a legitimate work-from-home hub with strong wifi and free parking, while also feeling genuinely welcoming for gatherings—from casual coffee dates to hosting celebrations with a team that actually pays attention. Local regulars keep coming back for the unexpected warmth of owner-run hospitality, paired with coffee and food that actually tastes like someone cared about the details.”

I enjoy trying different coffee shops but Ruckus is my tried and true! It truly is a local gem. Free parking, seasonal drinks, full food menu and the staff is always so pleasant. Thanks Ruckus!
This was an unexpected stop on an afternoon of running errands. Really cute place with amazing food. Everything was so fresh and the side of veggies I loved were multiple veggies rather than just carrots. The people were fabulous and the other patrons were helpful. Also the flyers on the wall it looked like they had / have a lot of meet ups for different types of groups throughout the week which I thought was awesome.
The Cafe was not very busy but it seriously took the barista about 5 minutes to greet me as I was standing at the register. When the barista did acknowledge my presence...he dismissively commented that he would be with me as soon as possible. He took my order, he made it as ordered, and that was pretty much it! I can't say that he was friendly but he did the job that he was hired to do. Although a bit pricey, my drink was actually very tasty. Unfortunately, that is not enough for me to be a returning customer. To each their own!
Had my daughter’s baby shower here & it was AMAZING! The food was scrumptious & the staff completely attentive! Would 100% recommend hosting an event here. The room was a perfect size for a small to medium gathering.!
We hosted our daughter’s baby shower here. The food was delicious, the atmosphere beautiful. The owner Chris could not have been more accommodating. We had our choice of beautiful linens and table runners included in the price. She even offered vases for the centerpieces. I appreciate her many years of experience with event planning as she offered some great suggestions. I attended a 60th birthday party here and was so impressed I had to use this venue. I highly recommend having your party here.
