Crema's Take
“This family-owned gem in Pittsburgh blends serious coffee craftsmanship with genuine wellness focus, from their house-made cashew milk to creative offerings like the Centred Latte (vanilla with cinnamon) and new Croiffle hybrid pastries. The warm, attentive staff and thoughtful approach to detail—whether that's supporting good causes, curating a book selection, or nailing vegan and gluten-free options—makes it feel like a third space designed by people who actually care. With excellent cold brew, matcha, and a cozy atmosphere that welcomes both lingering conversations and focused work, it's the kind of spot that keeps people coming back year after year.”

Edit#3. Centred has 2 new offerings. Olive oil zaatqr croissants and Croiffle - it's a hybrid croissant waffle served with real maple syrup. OMG! Been coming to Centred for the last year, love the atmosphere and the coffee. They used to not having a lot of offers, but recently they started stocking up on really delicious items. I got the olive oil tortilla with peach jam, AMAZING! Also tried their Levant Latte. It's Latte with condensed milk and cardamom, OH MY! I asked the barrista what's changed, and was told the coffeeshop has a new owner. Told me to keep an eye on new offerings and more edibles. Excited to see how my neighborhood coffeehouse will reinvent itself. Edit 8/30 - busy during labor day weekend. Got strawberry Matcha and Mango berry drinks. Delicious!!! Very excellent for a Summer drink. Many Vegan and Gluten Free options. Amazing. Edit 10/5 - place has a nice vibe in Sunday mid day. Love the crowd scene. Levant Latte was delicious and the macaroons never disappoint. Today intried the matcha macaroons. The food display has many options.
My favorite coffee shop in town. The staff are so friendly, and they support a lot of good causes. Nice book selection as well. I’ll be back again and again! 😊
Delicious iced strawberry matcha. I added cashew milk which is made in house and it tastes very fresh and light. They also have plenty of dessert options and would recommend trying it out. Indoor seating is very cozy and packed most of the time. Special thanks to the baristas as they were very kind and welcoming!
Great cafe with vegan and gluten free options, plus yummy lattes! The coffee here was really nice, I really enjoyed the Centred Latte, a vanilla latte with cinnamon, and their other ones looked good too! I wish they listed the descriptions of what the flavors are for the signature drinks though so I don’t have to bother the staff while it’s busy. The pastries here all looked great with different flavors, I liked the Pecan Cherry scone a lot, with actual cherries mixed in! It is vegan and gf, which means the texture is definitely very different from traditional pastries, but one of the best vegan ones I’ve ever had! Excited to come back and try more!
One of my favorite coffee spots in Pittsburgh. It’s family-owned, and you can really feel the difference, everything is more personal and thoughtfully done. I tried their probiotic refresher (Açaí) and it was super refreshing. My daughter had the Levant latte and absolutely loved it. The ingredients are high quality and local, even the milk and sweeteners are carefully chosen. The atmosphere is cozy and calming, a nice change from the more generic, rushed vibe you get at big chain cafés. You can tell they genuinely care about what they serve and the space they’ve created.
