Crema's Take
“Tha'Burg Nutrition in Hattiesburg has earned a devoted following for their standout tea selection, with regulars declaring them the best in town after sampling every tea shop within a six-year radius. The owners Madi and Angela have cultivated a family-friendly spot where creative specialty drinks and quality matcha shine, though some visitors note the pricing runs on the higher side. Despite mixed experiences with staff consistency, those who connect with the place find themselves coming back for both the exceptional tea quality and the welcoming vibe that keeps families—even road-trippers with young kids—stopping by.”

You and your employees will never disrespect my clients and I not speak on it. Those young ladies that you employ are very disrespectful and nasty. The fact that you all decided to leave a review like I have serviced anyone from over there says a lot about your character and those young ladies hire. However I have patronized your business since you have been there but stopped because you all fix those teas and NEVER wash your hands no matter what. I would never spend a dollar there again and I warn those that do makes sure you wash your hands!!
These girls are great! Awesome owner and family best teas in town!
HANDS DOWN BEST tea shop in “Tha Burg”!!! I’ve been to every tea shop in Hattiesburg in the last 6 years and this place by far has the best teas and customer service!! Love the owners Madi and Angela, and all of their girls! 🙌🏽5⭐️’s for sure!!
I’m currently traveling from Louisiana to Pensacola with my three- and four-year-old daughters. As we were approaching Hattiesburg, I began feeling drowsy and decided to stop at this establishment due to its convenient location near the interstate. This was our first stop since leaving home, and naturally, my girls needed to use the restroom. I asked the young woman working if my children could use the restroom. I was told no. I asked again, politely explaining that it was just for my small children—still no. My four-year-old stood there holding herself, clearly in distress, yet we were still denied access. Any parent of young children understands how urgent these moments are. My only option was to load them back into the car and scramble to find a gas station, which very likely would have ended in wet pants and a soaked car seat. I completely understand that businesses have policies. My husband and I own two businesses ourselves, so I speak from experience when I say that sometimes, it’s okay to make an exception. It’s okay to be human and show empathy. It’s okay to let a small child use the restroom, especially when the alternative is so unreasonable. Honestly, I may have never returned to Tha’ Burg Nutrition simply because I’m traveling. But now, I definitely won’t. In our own businesses, we prioritize customer care and always strive to go the extra mile to help someone—even if it means bending a rule now and then. That’s just basic customer service. The tea was pretty tart, too.
I usually go to the tea stop by my house, but was in town and tried the burg. The girl making my tea was nice, tea tasted great. But the price didn’t make sense. I got the same two drinks I always get. It was $24. It’s usually $19 everywhere else. Why the big price difference for the same thing?
