Crema's Take
“Tucked into Waco, this independent spot has built a loyal following for its thoughtful breakfast offerings and genuinely warm service that makes first-timers feel like regulars. The kitchen shines with made-to-order specialties like Bobby's Ranchero and gluten-free pancakes that show real care, though consistency can occasionally slip on the execution side. What really sets it apart is the calming atmosphere and the staff's attentiveness—diners consistently praise the sweet service and prompt attention that makes the experience feel unhurried and genuine.”

This was mine and my husband's first time here and everything was great. The atmosphere was very calming and enjoyable. The staff was very sweet and prompt with our menus. I ordered the one egg over easy with pancake. The egg was cooked to perfection and the pancake was big that it took up the whole plate. It was cooked just right and it wasn't to thick, but yet it wasn't thin either. It was very light, airy, and fluffy just the way I like my pancakes. The price was just right for someone on a budget. This is definitely a place that I highly recommend and we will be coming back again.
Best breakfast place I've eaten at in a long time. My breakfast burrito was cooked to perfection and presented well. My wife's egg was cooked to perfection along with one huge pancake that was cooked nice and fluffy and done all the way!!! The service was amazing and I loved the atmosphere!!!
First time here and had a great experience! Got the gluten free pancakes and they were great. Bobby's Ranchero was spot on. And they had a really nice hot tea selection for me 😊. They really need to warn first timers about how huge the pancakes are 🤣. Yes, we had to get a to-go box 😁. Thank you!
Ordered bacon pancakes with eggs and ham, and biscuits and gravy with a waffle. The pancakes wasn't quite done so it was a bit gooey. The biscuits and gravy were bad. Everything else was ok. The place looks a bit run down. The waitress was good and friendly.
I’ve never had a bad experience at Cafe Cappuccino before, but unfortunately the to-go order I received on 9-25-2025 was disappointing. I ordered the berry and pecan crepes, but the crepe itself was undercooked. I would not recommend ordering crepes to go, though dining in has always been a good experience in the past.
