Loop Espresso Club

Crema's Take
“This LA institution strikes that rare balance between a serious espresso bar and a welcoming third space, where you can linger over a pour over while working on a script or catching up with friends without feeling rushed. The team clearly knows their craft—their specialty drinks showcase nuanced flavor notes and fragrant complexity that keep regulars coming back, while their classic menu ensures there's something for everyone, paired with excellent pastries like their jalapeño cheese croissant. It's the kind of place that somehow manages to feel both energizing and intimate, even when it's buzzing with the creative crowd LA is known for.”

Absolutely lovely atmosphere in here, perfect for a cute coffee date or working on a script. The seating is extremely comfortable and the drinks are DELICIOUS. I tend to be a pour over type of person, but you’ve gotta try their cortados and their matcha. Best matcha I’ve had in LA, and I wish I could take that Espresso Loop cortado with me everywhere I travel. Can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in town.
I like the specialty coffee here! It’s very fragrant and I can typically taste notes when they prepare it. Menu drinks have always been tasty too so we are big fans
This place is probably one of my favorite coffee shops in LA. I feel like it hits every single requirement of a good coffee shop — a classic menu paired with unique drinks you can’t find elsewhere and a studyable environment. I got their canela latte, which was very well-balanced and extremely smooth. Coffee is toffee-like, slightly acidic and slightly bitter but perfect with the canela syrup. I want to try their cortado when I’m not here all hot and sweaty after a run. It is quite dark inside and it gives the dark academia version of Kaizen & Coffee in San Mateo, which is one of my favorite Bay Area coffee shops!
Is it just me or the concept of bar-ish like coffee kinda flourishing lately? It’s so much fun for me finding myself drowning amidst the crowd yet able to get myself focused while sipping my cup of joe. Yes, I loved that kind of busy ambiance with people are busy with their own selves as well LOL. The lighting was prolly kinda dimmed for my liking, but I loved the classic ambiance. It’s their Miel Cream Top for this visit, with iced cold brew paired to vanilla honey cream. As expected, it’s quite strong but they did offer adding splash of milk if you fancied something lighter. It would also suit you when you preferred less sweet coffee. One small thing but I did appreciate was they would serve your drink in non-single-serve cups when you said you would have it there.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loop – A Delightful Café Stop I recently visited Loop and had a lovely experience. I ordered a hot Americano, a jalapeño cheese croissant, and a cold brew, and each item was excellent. • The hot Americano was bold and well-balanced — rich flavor without being bitter. • The jalapeño cheese croissant was a standout — buttery and flaky, with just enough jalapeño heat to make it interesting without overpowering the savory cheese. • The cold brew was smooth, crisp, and refreshing — great for sipping while you relax or work. Service was friendly, the ambiance is cozy but lively, and the little touches (presentation, timing) added to the enjoyment. Definitely a café I’d return to on my next visit.
