Yes, I’m giving a 5 star review because I’m friends with the owners. It’s also because for $7 all day play from a selection of over 580 games, you’ll won’t find many places offering cheaper entertainment. Also, the food is good, especially the shakes (I recommend the chocolate-strawberry shake). My favorite sandwich is the Pizza Plunder. I also like the chipotle aioli for dipping my fries and dino nuggets in (yes, I’m a grown man, and I like dino nuggies). I wouldn’t endorse the place if I didn’t really love it on its own merit. If I hated the place, or thought it was lousy, I’d just keep my mouth shut. So, yeah, I’m probably biased, but if you think I might be mistaken or lying, come see for yourself. Prove me wrong.
Our experience was okay. The games were pricey, especially since it was per person instead of per party. The texture of the fries were very stale. Honestly, they were probably the worst fries that I've had in a restaraunt setting. The chili and cheese option improved them, though. Everyone at the table kept saying that their milkshakes tasted a little bit like banana, which is strange. I don't know why that was. The selection of games was very good. It's not really a complaint, but all of the logos and menu pictures and stuff are clearly Ai generated. I know that some of the gaming community does not approve of Ai, so be aware.
This place is amazing! They have two kinds of root beer, and a ton of games. You can tell they have out so much thought into this cafe by all of the small details. We will definitely be back!!
The cafe was incredible! The owners were so kind and helpful and the food we got was delicious! They had an amazing selection of board games to pick from - from super intensive ones, to easier ones for kids. I’m so excited that the area finally has a super great board game cafe, and am ready to spend a lot of Saturdays here trying out all the games!
My friends and I decided to go check it out and it’s such an amazing place if anyone who loves board games. They have a HUGE selection of games, themed private rooms you can rent, and the owners are the nicest people I’ve ever met! You can tell they put a lot of thought and effort into the place and we will definitely be going back.
