Wagon Wheel Country Cafe

Crema's Take
“Wagon Wheel Country Cafe is a genuinely charming spot where homestyle cooking meets real hospitality, with standout dishes like their tender country fried steak and surprisingly hard-to-find meatloaf that keep locals coming back. The casual, country atmosphere welcomes families and friends equally well, making it ideal for lingering over coffee and conversation without any pretension or rush. While service can be inconsistent on busy weekend mornings, the reasonable prices and generous portions of comfort food mean you'll likely forgive the occasional wait.”

Was a great time with Great friends. Highly recommend. Delicious food for a great price. The workers were amazing and the atmosphere was on point. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to eat here again. 10/10 stars. ⭐️
Ok wow! What a CUTE little place! And bonus points for having meatloaf on the lunch menu! You don't see that very often, my husband was so thrilled. My son had an adorable kids pancake and they make them into different shapes. He loved that! My MIL had biscuits and gravy and said they were absolutely delicious. I personally, I know I'm boring, had the bacon cheese burger. What a splendid meal! And reasonably price also. I'm a sucker for a rustic place with miss mach decor. And it was very old fashioned and I absolutely loved it. It was very clear the place is popular in the local population as we barely got a table and it was packed the whole time we were there. The severs were super super nice and the cashier was wonderful. The only downfall was the servers kept stepping on each others toes and it was causing a little bit of issues with people getting their food and drinks correctly or sometimes someone would have to ask several times for silverware or dressing. But they were still super kind about it so I won't be too hard on them! It was busy as heck and there were only a couple of them so kudos to them! If you go here it will be money well spent! Will absolutely be coming back when I come back through the area.
Didn't even eat here thanks to rude service. We walked in and the sign said to seat yourself. We waited almost ten minutes before another group walked in. Our waitress made it a point to serve the group first and take their orders first, no wait at all for them while we were still waiting. We left money for our drink and left, why would I want to put an order in knowing the group that came in after us is gonna get their food first. I'm sure the waitress just pocketed our drink money.
Is pretty good! The food decent and there's usually plenty of space to sit. Seems to get busy on weekends for brunch/lunch but nothing wild. Environment and customers are very much 'country' if you can believe it. If you look more uhh, blue, let's say, prepare to get a good number of stares. Never had an issue personally but considering projecting het vibes. The fried pickles rule and theres a good Cajun ranch if you enjoy that sorta thing.
What a wonderful genuinely country place. I had the pleasure of having Sheila as my server. The service and food were great. The country fried steak was tender and delicious. The tater tots were crisper to perfection and the gravy brought it all together. I would definitely recommend this place.
