Excellent espresso-rich, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. I always appreciate being served espresso in ceramic, which really elevates the experience. The space itself is beautifully designed, especially impressive given that they've been open less than a year. It feels intentional, modern, and welcoming. A great bonus is that you can also purchase bags of their house-roasted coffee to take home. Definitely worth a visit.

Velvet Ditch is one of a kind coffee house. Great atmosphere to have a cup of Joe, relax and visit with friends or just soak up the wonderful smell of coffee being roasted. Love their coffee!!

The absolute best place for a cup of coffee and a flaky croissant in Oxford. Such a cozy and relaxing environment, nothing beats a Velvet Ditch coffee by the fireplace.

We visited Velvet Ditch Coffee Roasters while in Oxford for the holidays and had a great experience. It’s a beautiful space with all the southern charm you would expect in Oxford. Beautiful interior that was cozy and inviting. When we visited, there was a guy playing a guitar which added to the charm. Very friendly staff swell. We ordered a dirty chai latte and brewed coffee. They had a simple menu, with lots of options. We ordered their S.E.C (sausage, egg, cheese) Biscuit, Oxford Melt (ham and cheese croissant), and Walnut Banana Bread). Everything was great. We ended up ordering a second walnut banana bread to go, as it was that good. We set on a sofa in front of the fireplace, so very cozy, especially with the guitarist close by. There was a nice vibe there and we ended up chatting with a nice couple sitting next to us. My latte was great, food was great, and we jokingly said it reminded us of being in a Hallmark movie with all the friendly people coming through. We look forward to visiting again next trip to Oxford.

My 1st visit to the ‘Velvet Ditch Coffee Roasters’ little cafe in Oxford, Ms., was excellent. Great coffee, great service, and very comfortable environment. This will be my go-to Coffee spot in Oxford.
