Auspicious Baking Company
104 Bryan Woods Rd, Savannah, GA
Crema's Take
“This Savannah bakery is a genuine destination where the pastries and coffee are equally stellar—think fresh almond chocolate croissants, butter croissants that justify a Saturday morning line out the door, and cinnamon buns that keep people coming back. Beyond the excellent specialty drinks like their maple caramel iced latte, what sets Auspicious apart is their willingness to go the distance, literally custom-baking a chocolate chess pie for a customer's birthday when they couldn't find one anywhere else. It's the kind of place where everything tastes impossibly fresh and the friendly staff makes you feel like they actually care, whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a full breakfast.”

My husband knows that my favorite pie is chocolate chess pie. My birthday was coming up and he couldn’t find ANYWHERE that made one. On a whim, he called Auspicious to see if they could make it happen and they did! Great service and the pie was the best I have ever had. 10/10 across the board! Highly recommend!
We had breakfast one morning at their restaurant and picked up bakery items the next. Did not disappoint. A must stop when you are down in Savannah.
This bakery is the real deal. We had the everything bagel, quiche, almond chocolate croissant and two cookies. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and if you want to eat there they will heat the pasties for you. I can't wait to go back tomorrow while we are still in town.
So many options! Line gets long but goes pretty quickly. The maple caramel iced latte was also very delicious! Love the cinnamon buns, and the pastries all tasted very fresh.
Auspicious Sandfly is absolutely worth the hype! I stopped by on a Saturday morning and there was already a line out the door—which is always a good sign. I ordered four butter croissants, and they were heavenly: perfectly flaky, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. You can tell they’re made with care and top-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was bustling but welcoming, and the staff kept things moving smoothly despite the crowd. If you’re in Savannah and love a truly exceptional pastry, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!
