I have had about 15 odd landlords over a 25 year period in Ithaca. The Terrys are by far amongst the best few if not the best. The key reasons are: (1) each time I had an issue, they were prompt and courteous to get back, and genuinely tried to find a solution, (2) the property upkeep was amongst the best in Ithaca, and (3) they were genuinely fair and pleasant to deal with. I always received sufficient notice for anything that impacted me from their having to come to the house to any issue with the property. I had no problems in my interactions. Finally, and most crucially, I got to live on the lake. That is a privilege. I doubt I will have many experiences at properties nicer than where I stayed. If I ever return to Ithaca, which I hope I do not because I have had enough time in Ithaca and it’s time to move on, I would rent with them if possible.

In 2022 I wrote, “Karla is an amazing landlord. She is kind, clear about tenant and renting expectations, and responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Great company!” Now it is 2024! Two years later, and I can confirm it all held true! I stayed as a tenant with Karla for my entire time in Ithaca, and it was the best renting experience I’ve had yet. If you’re looking for housing in Ithaca, look no further and choose West Shore Apartments!

I currently live in the building on the corner or East State st and north quarry and absolutely love it here! Karla has been nothing but extremely transparent and helpful for any question we’ve had! Her response time is impeccable, even at later hours in the night! My roommate and I searched through many different apartments and found west shore’s to be the cleanest, friendliest and most affordable. For the location so close to college town and the Ithaca commons, the price is unmatched, especially for the amount of space we have within the apartment! It is extremely peaceful here and we absolutely love it!
