Crema's Take

Caffe Luxxe in Long Beach strikes that rare balance between a serious espresso bar and a genuinely welcoming third space, with reviewers consistently praising the friendly staff and peaceful outdoor seating that's perfect for settling in with your laptop as the sun sets. Their pour overs and espresso drinks lean toward the thoughtful and specialty-forward, though if you're a traditionalist you might find some of their single origins—like their Ethiopian drips with pronounced fruity notes—venture into more adventurous territory. The free 90-minute parking structure takes away the usual coffee shop friction, making it easy to actually linger over your drink without watching the meter.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the exceptional service I received this morning at your coffee shop. The large americano coffee with steamed half and half and raw sugar, along with the croissant I ordered, were perfect. The coffee was delicious and the croissant was a delightful treat. Despite the busy morning rush, your baristas were knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly prompt in serving all customers. I was impressed by their efficiency and expertise. I will definitely recommend your coffee shop to my friends and family for the excellent coffee and diverse pastry selection. Additionally, the ambiance of your coffee shop is inviting and pleasant. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience for your customers. #grateful #excellentservice #recommendation #coffeeheaven ☕️🥐👌🏼🌟

Visiting here for the second time now. I wanted to grab coffee before my lunch plans and shop around the stores. Parking: There's a parking structure with free 90 minute parking. There's free street parking, but it's difficult to find. There's also a free parking lot across the street. Finding a spot in the lot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: They're located along side PCH. They have a medium sized space with limited amount of indoor seating and a good amount of outdoor seating. It's pretty clean inside. I sat outside because the views of the weather and boats were nice. It wasn't too busy, but there were consistent customers coming in. There's no clear direction of where the line starts, so people just started lining up however. Service: The baristas are always courteous and welcoming. They're very knowledgable about the menu. They'll ask if you have any questions about the menu. I asked them if they still do latte art, and luckily one of the baristas that was working knows how to do latte art. Throughput is also quick; it took about 5 min after ordering. Drinks: I ordered a large hot Dolcezza from their seasonal menu. It's a pumpkin puree spiced latte. A hot large latte is 12 oz. I asked for a ceramic mug since I wanted to sit outside for a while. The latte art was so cute. The drink itself tasted exactly as described. The pumpkin flavor was strong and paired well with the espresso. Pricing: It cost $7.50 for a seasonal, large hot latte. I noticed prices are a bit more than average. Considering where it's located, I'm not too surprised. Although I enjoyed my drink, I'd visit once in a while when I'm in the area.

Loved it here! The staff were so kind and friendly and quick to make my drink. I sat outside as the sun was setting and did some work on my laptop and it was so peaceful and perfect. I got a green tea with passionfruit and it was delicious. I really liked the variety of seating options available and loved sitting in some comfy patio chairs. There really are a lot of options here!! One thing to note: they do not offer WiFi, the shopping center does, but it's not very good WiFi. I had to connect to my personal hotspot to get work done.

Disconnected staff. Very rude. I came in with only one small group being serviced ahead of me. I waited patiently. Three other groups came in while I was waiting. The barista turned and immediately began taking the order of the group behind me. Another staff member asked me, "What do you want?" I replied, "A cold brewed coffee would be nice." She looked confused, and said, "Well, the line starts over there," she pointed to the back of newly formed line. I said, "That's unfortunate. You should check the security cameras." I left. No one stopped me. No one cared. It says a lot about a company's culture to let a customer walk away without comment or concern.

Not a huge fan of the coffee, but it wasn't bad. I got an Ethiopian drip. It had a fruity flavor but not the traditional coffee taste that I enjoy. Again, it's wasn't bad, but if you want traditional coffee try a different variety. The atmosphere was relaxed, they have a bathroom and staff is friendly.
