Felicity's Expresso
6307 Debarr Rd, Anchorage, AK
Crema's Take
“Tucked inside Anchorage's K Street Market, Felicity's Espresso draws you in with a lush plant-filled space and locally sourced pastries that make it feel more like a curated gathering spot than a typical coffee shop. The maple latte with house-made syrup and smooth, well-executed espresso drinks shine when the baristas get the extraction right, though consistency seems to be their achilles heel—some customers rave about perfectly balanced milk drinks while others have encountered over-extracted, bitter shots. It's a place where you'll want to linger among the greenery and farm-to-table offerings, as long as you catch them on a good day.”

Nice atmosphere, good staff, horrific coffee. On three separate occasions, waterfall shots (gushing, over-extracted, bitter) were used in my espresso-based milk drinks, resulting in acrid, bitter coffees. I hope they invest in staff training and QC as this is easily fixable. Love the bakery next door and will happily return if the coffee quality comes up to par.
I love this place. I came in to grab a coffee while I walked around downtown and ordered the maple latte with house-made syrup. It was smooth, delicious, hot, and not overly sweet. While I waited for my coffee, I admired all the plants and cute gifts. I forced myself not to buy a plant because I am not home enough to take care of them properly, but this place was so relaxing and inviting with all of the greenery. I will be back next time I am in Anchorage.
An oasis of life. This shop has a farm to table market, smoothie bar and locally sourced pastries and incredible coffee. The plants were STUNNING!!!! So so so so many beautiful ones to see ,select and take home!!! The staff is friendly! Totally recommend!
In the same K Street Market as the Fire Island Rusic Bakeshop you can get a delicious expresso based drink. I enjoyed the Mocha with an extra dhop delicious and smooth. A short block from the Mariot, step out for better! Also they have a great plant wall and sell plants too!
Atmosphere – 3 stars The space felt cramped and a bit disorganized. It was hard to tell where the line began, as several people were standing around waiting for their orders, which created some confusion. Once we figured it out, we were served fairly quickly. The shop also doubles as a plant store, which gave it an unusual vibe—not necessarily bad, just not what I expected from a coffee spot. There’s no seating, which made it feel more like a grab-and-go place than a spot to relax. Service – 3 stars The service was okay but not memorable. The barista wasn’t particularly friendly or welcoming—no smile, no small talk. It didn’t feel like a warm or inviting experience. Coffee – 3 stars We both ordered iced caramel lattes, but they lacked the caramel flavor we were hoping for. It wasn’t sweet and didn’t have the balance you’d expect from a flavored latte. The coffee itself was fine, but definitely not something I’d go out of my way to get again. Overall – 3 out of 5 stars That Feeling Company is a unique spot that blends coffee and plants, but the execution fell short for me. The atmosphere was confusing, the service was a bit cold, and the drink didn’t deliver on flavor. It’s not a bad place, but I probably wouldn’t rush back.
