Candy is the best bartender! She is so friendly and very efficient! We love coming here on Thursdays! Come visit her! We love it here. Atmosphere is so relaxing and fun! Love golfing here too. Membership totally worth it!

We ordered room service from Birdies for dinner and had breakfast there the next morning. Lovely atmosphere, good service, clean environment and delicious food. We had the 14 oz Ribeye for dinner and Shrimp Mac and cheese for dinner. The next morning we chicken and waffles, and the omelet. Highly recommend.

For a hotel restaurant, the food is honestly very solid to the point where it may not be worth venturing out to eat! I'm a fan of their a la carte selection, but they do have a buffet on the weekends for $30. The Bacon & Egg sandwich is a pretty big and was tasty, with the chipotle aioli being a nice touch. The Chicken & Waffles is solid too, with the crispy chicken being the star! Great batter, which a nice touch of spice, and not at all dry. For lunch, I thought the Blackened Redfish on grits was very satisfying. I also recommend their Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which I asked for spicy. Very satisfying! It comes with a side and I chose Caesar Salad. I also had their Roasted Tomato Soup and was a big fan of the garlic chips garnish. I'd skip the side of potatoes and opt for their Charred Broccolini.

Pretty good for a hotel restaurant ! I’m not a huge salad lover but my salad was quite flavorful! Delicious espresso martini too . Fries were crisp!!

Review for Birdies Café and Bar: I recently dined at Birdies Café and Bar, located right inside our hotel. Although it wasn't initially planned, circumstances led us to have our meal there after a long day of touring Houston. Overall, the experience had its ups and downs. For our main course, my boyfriend ordered the burger, while I opted for the chicken burger. Both dishes were satisfying and flavorful. The burgers were well-prepared and packed with delicious ingredients. As an appetizer, we ordered fries, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we had the option to substitute the fries that came with our meals with salads, which turned out to be fantastic. The salads were a refreshing and we got to enjoy fried as well. While the food was enjoyable, the service had a few hiccups. Our server was friendly and accommodating, but there was a period of about 30 minutes where she seemed to have forgotten about us. In our particular situation, it wasn't a significant issue since we were staying at the same building . However, had it been a different scenario, it might have been more problematic. We did appreciate that our server acknowledged her mistake and offered us free drinks as an apology. At the end of our meal, when we were ready to pay, our server was nowhere to be found. We eventually asked the bartender to bill it to our room to expedite the process. In summary, Birdies Café and Bar provided a satisfactory dining experience. The burgers and the option to substitute fries for salads were highlights of the meal. Although there were some service mishaps, such as the server forgetting about us and being unavailable at the end, the overall service was friendly, and our server acknowledged her mistakes. Given the circumstances, it was an acceptable experience, but improvements could be made in terms of consistency and attentiveness.
