Such a chill and reliable spot in Garden Oaks! Slowpokes has become our go-to for coffee and casual eats—the espresso drinks are strong and flavorful (love the seasonal lattes), and the all-day breakfast menu is perfect (avocado toast on point, breakfast tacos hearty and fresh, bagels/salmon options great too). We dined in recently—atmosphere is laid-back with nice indoor/outdoor seating, good music, and a friendly vibe for working or hanging out. Service was quick and welcoming, portions generous, and happy hour with beer/wine is a nice bonus. Spent $10-20 pp and it felt like great value. Consistent quality every time—highly recommend this neighborhood gem for breakfast, lunch, or just a great cup of coffee!

Slowpokes Café was sooo good! We ordered a Slowpoke specialty latte (one iced and one hot) and both were amazing. The Cali sandwich with a side salad and the breakfast bagel were both delicious — everything tasted fresh and flavorful. It’s such a great quiet spot to study or get work done. Super chill vibes and a really comfortable atmosphere. I also love that they have a window outside where you can order to-go if you don’t want to dine in — super convenient! Definitely coming back! ☕️✨

Purple Rain latte was okay. I know Ube has a very subtle flavor but I had to ask for an extra pump because it tasted like just a plain latte. The spicy jam for the breakfast biscuit was yummy though .

10/10 every time I come ,ube latte is perfectly made too where you can taste the espresso but still taste the richness of the ube.Empanadas were amazing also have tried the pretzel bun here last time and loved it

Loved this place! The Reece’s latte is amazing and the lady at the front taking orders she is sooo warm and so sweet. I believe her name is Abbey A according to my receipt. She compliments guests and just treats everyone with such kindness. I ordered the beef empanada and breakfast biscuit both were delicious.
