Crema's Take

This modern Homewood gem transports you away from Birmingham with its thoughtfully designed spaces that feel both contemporary and welcoming, anchored by genuine hospitality from staff who genuinely care about your experience. Beyond their stellar coffee, they've crafted a versatile haven where you can linger over a creamy mocha and study materials, catch up with friends over innovative matcha drinks, or settle in for an unhurried afternoon with family over tea and cake. It's the kind of place that succeeds at being many things at once—specialty coffee destination, cozy meeting spot, and atmospheric retreat—without losing its soul.

This place is amazing ! It doesn’t feel like Bham. The place is brand new and modern . They have a lot of different drinks with and without caffeine . The staff is so kind and helpful. Matcha and honeycomb bread is my fav. I especially love the girls who take the orders. They have unique seating . They are also open late .

I truly cannot express how much I enjoyed this place, even during such a short visit. I stopped in with my wife and daughter to enjoy tea and cake, and the experience exceeded expectations. The service was phenomenal. Although I didn’t catch the cashier’s name (she had red hair), she was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Small touches like that make a lasting impression. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that sugar cookies are complimentary for children, which was a thoughtful and generous gesture. The atmosphere is equally impressive. The music selection was enjoyable and added to the overall charm of the space. We will absolutely be returning and look forward to our next visit.

Hours are Sunday - Thursday 8 am - 10 pm Friday & Saturday 8 am - 12 am Fun coffee shop with tons of potential. It’s obviously intended to become a meeting place with at least two rooms that can be used as private meeting space. Very attractive decor and what seem to be traditional drinks and light food options Our favorite is the sabaya which is sweet and delightful!
