Crema's Take
“Tuck yourself into this hidden gem nestled in a Bloomington strip mall, where passionate owners craft authentic Italian cornetti and imported pastries that taste like they've traveled straight from Italy. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee and almond croissant or settling in for a calm afternoon with friends, the genuinely warm service and commitment to quality—from fresh-baked goods to carefully sourced Italian products—makes this feel less like a coffee stop and more like discovering a cherished neighborhood spot.”

Amazing little shop. Girlfriend and I got a quick snack for a small lunch and it was great. Service was friendly and quick, atmosphere was calm and collected, and food was great. I had never heard of the place and I thought it was really good. If you are considering going here, give it a shot!!! Thank you for the lunch!
Outstanding Italian bakery, loved the fresh baked goods, as well as the imported Italian products. Keep at it for Btown!
This place is tucked away in the back of a strip mall. Super friendly owners who care about their food quality and it shows. They sell a pretty big variety of things from baked goods to imported fare from Italy. Their dine in isn’t as established so expect to eat off biodegradable banana leaf/palm plates. The prices were a bit high, but I can see that they use better than your normal store ingredients.
Bloomington small business, bought a toasted almond and plain with vanilla pastry cream cornetto (Italian croissant). They were great! Make sure you double check their hours of operation.
You know how you have favorite restaurants or foods where you think it is the best, you don't have it for awhile, then when you get it again that it is EVEN BETTER than how you remember? That's how Piccoli Dolci was for us. We moved away two years ago and came back last weekend to visit. We went by the storefront and got cookies, soup, soda, and pastries (honestly we should have gotten more). Everything was delicious and it was a comforting feeling... sitting in the shop, eating the warm and flavorful zuppa with our pieces of bread and warmed spinach puff pastry. The staff was very friendly and nice. The store was clean and organized.
