I’m not usually a fan of soup- but I LOVE their potato gnocchi…

I'm currently fostering a days-old kitten, which means I have very little time and even sleep even less. The Hive's salad bar is SO good; their bagels and baked potatoes are perfect. I'm so grateful to be able to get fresh vegetables without needing to plan ahead. Thank you for being on delivery apps.

Home Style Food, Home Style Atmaspere, Home Style Memories. In our quest to avoid the corporate fast food chain restaurants and find real down-to-earth GOOD family-run food purveyors, we were told about a little place across from the train station in Old Town Van Buren. My wife and I stopped in and enjoyed a very delicious light lunch. She loves soups and had a hard time deciding which one to choose since they had several to select from. Now because it was self-serve there was no pressure to hurry up or have to wait for service. Myself, I love a good salad bar. The problem with many of them is that they don't have a very good selection of Items, or they have just the same routine of veggies and crunchies that the BIG chain restaurants have. The Hive had in their Salad Bar a great selection of super fresh veggies and some things I have never seen on a salad bar, things that I would have in my home that I enjoy. The Hive checked ALL 3 Boxes 1. Home Style Food, 2.Home Style Atmaspere, and 3. Home Style Memories. Oh, and the atmosphere is PERFECT for Old Town Van Burin Arkansas, so ignore those narrow-minded critics who don't understand that Van Buren is NOT your BIG Corporate Chain Restaurant. Personally, I like the small and unique family-run, type restaurants. It made me “FEEL” like I was enjoying a good homemade meal with my children. I guess that makes the HIVE a “Memory Purveyors Also”. TG

Love the loaded potato gnocchi soup! The salad bar is always fresh and has a good selection of toppings to make a great salad! Tried the yogurt parfait bar and I’m hooked! The berries were fresh, plump, and delicious plus the granola mix they use is top notch! Definitely a new gem in downtown Van Buren that is a must try if you haven’t yet!
