Crema's Take

Viland Coffee is a charming newcomer to Little Saigon that pairs carefully crafted espresso drinks with unexpectedly affordable French beignets (just 75 cents each), creating a perfect sweet-and-savory pairing worth the occasional wait. The bright, welcoming space features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Bolsa Avenue and offers both cozy window-bar seating and outdoor tables, making it an ideal spot for lingering conversations or solo coffee contemplation. While execution can be inconsistent and the seating gets snug during peak hours, the genuine effort to blend quality coffee culture with Vietnamese-influenced pastry traditions gives this spot real charm and potential.

Drinks are on point if you don’t mind the wait, it took 30 minutes to get 4 drinks and 4 beignets. The drinks are a little pricey for the size. I hope they keep the beignets at the price they are, 75cents, which is great. The store is very well designed. With sooooo many options around this area, it’s must be hard to compete, so I wish you luck and I hope you stick around for a long time. Thank you!

We were visiting from out of town and were really excited to try Viland. The seating area is on the smaller side and can feel a bit tight, especially when it’s busy, but hopefully they’ll expand in the future. They also serve beignets, which were delicious and came out hot, definitely best enjoyed while sitting there. You can get them with powdered sugar on top or on the side. We ordered the coffee with matcha cream topped with a mini croissant, as well as the strawberry matcha with an einspanner top, and everything was great. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is sad. How are you coffee & beignet when you're beignets are cold, and mushy with grease? It has potential though, if they were warm. But my pate choud was warm? Avocado coffee tasted like coffee. No avocado. No greeting, slow service when we were pretty much the only ones waiting. The place was clean at least because customers picked up after themselves. Disappointed with all the fake business boosting IG reels that did it for the free drinks

Nice & perfect place for drinks and snacks. It over looks Bolsa Ave through ceiling to floor glass with tables and window bar seatings, plus they do have outside seating. It is very festive decor now since it’s holidays season so very decorative. They do have self or in personal order service. Menu is small but plenty to choose from. They also do have snack & baked goods besides hot/cold drinks. The quality is nice and tasty and the prices are okey. Service is nice, friendly and helpful overall. If you ordered Beignets, you might have to wait abit long (15mins+) so keep that in mind.

Back in Little Saigon for another coffee fix. Coffee & Beignets just opened this year (2025), right across from the Today’s Plaza (T&K Food Market) , and it’s part of the same group as Yummy Bakery. Like most Vietnamese cafés, they’ve got all the favorites-Ube, Coconut, and even Vietnamese drip coffee. They also serve matcha (with a Uji Matcha option!) and beignets which is rare to find. I tried the Ube Matcha and Ube Latte - both on the sweeter side, while the Matcha Latte leaned a bit bitter. The barista mentioned that Vietnamese coffee always needs sugar so they don’t have a zero-sugar option. The lowest you can go is 25% sugar, and only black coffee can be fully unsweetened. Next time I’ll definitely ask for the least sugar possible- otherwise it’s super sweet for me. 📍 ViLand Coffee & Beignets 9600 Bolsa Ave G, Westminster, CA 92683
