This is my favorite coffee shop in SoCal! The coffee and pastries (especially the baklava) are delicious, and the atmosphere is so unique and cozy. It’s also tucked away inside Old World which is a quaint little shopping center so I’ll walk around and look at the other shops while I’m there sometimes. The Coffee Tale is right across from my work, so I go relatively often. Sometimes the owner is there too, and we’ll chat for a few minutes. He’s a very nice guy. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!
This is by far one of the sweetest and most delicious coffees I’ve had. The service was quick, the coffee was incredibly flavorful, and everything was prepared with great care. The owner was extremely warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere surrounds you and truly makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Turkey. It’s a place that makes you want to come back again and again.
Came over during the holiday season. This area is fully decorated, and has a good holiday spirit. There is a Christmas market outside of the coffee shop. This coffee shop gave me a Turkish vibes. Cashier was friendly, and service was fast. I ordered a dark chocolate latte with oak milk. The coffee was on the pricey side, and the taste was not as good as I expected. Parking was difficult. The parking lot is a bit small, and it was full. Not likely to stop by again.
Tucked inside Old World Village (right across from Costco), The Coffee Tale is a cozy Turkish café with character. There are two parking lots in the village, parking in the back is easier and saves you from walking around. They serve Turkish desserts like baklava, the green part is pistachio, and inside it’s sweet and honey filled with a crispy bite. Both the coffee and desserts are reasonably priced. The indoor space is small but uniquely decorated. Many people come here with books or laptops to relax. There’s also outdoor seating available. 📍The Coffee Tale 7561 Center Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647
The closest spot available for a meet up that's open late Sunday afternoon with great reviews and decided to check it out. It's located inside the old world village and not too hard to place. I was able to find parking right away. I ordered mocha and matcha latte (ice). The mocha was good but on the lighter side and so was the matcha. There were some tables outside and it was quiet and chill. This is a nice little spot for hangouts. The service was stellar and the owners were really friendly and personable.
