Southbound Bagel and Coffee Shop

I’ve been wanting to try this spot since we moved to Hattiesburg and finally made it today! The fresh bagel with eggs, bacon, and cheese was fantastic, definitely the highlight. The pancakes were okay, just get the bagels! Cute, cozy spot. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I love Southbound. The breakfast hash is great and so are the bagels. I like the atmosphere, too or sitting outside on a nice morning.

We had Southbound for breakfast twice on our trip to Hattiesburg because it was so delicious! The service and staff were amazing; especially two of the servers-precious young ladies! If you’re in Hattiesburg, it’s a must stop!

Loved everything about this little place. The bagels were so good. Chocolate chip bagels, garlic bagels, garlic and herbs cream cheese, honey drizzle cream cheese all made in house. The wait when we got there was not too bad (17 minutes) since it was transitioning from breakfast to lunch, which is understandable, it was super busy. We got the western omelet, pancake platter, hash platter. Sausage was delicious, eggs were cooked to our liking. We were welcomed in as soon as we stepped onto the curb, 11:49am. The ladies were apologetic of the wait, but we were not in a hurry. We loved the 50s style and the originality of everything. We enjoyed it and would love to come back and visit. There are no inside bathrooms if you need one, it is around the corner, not far at all. We parked in the lot across the street. We will reccomend this spot to our friends. Thanks 😊

I travel all over the country, been to many fancy restaurants, have breakfast in a different city almost every day…and this was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Top 5. Absolute loved it, everything was delicious, from the garlic cheese spread to the perfectly cooked veggie hash with sweet potatoes. Loved it all. Only thing I’d add is I wish they had a drink menu, like coffees and teas. Everything else, absolutely perfect
