Crema's Take
“Hill Street is a nostalgic neighborhood diner in Burbank where generous, home-cooked comfort food feels like it's made with genuine care—think towering cheeseburgers, fluffy pancakes, and biscuits and gravy that remind regulars why they keep coming back. The vintage, rustic atmosphere creates the perfect backdrop for lingering over coffee with family and friends, and the warm staff makes everyone feel like a regular from the moment they walk in.”

Tastes like home cookin..I had the senior beef patty meal with jack cheese and mushrooms and onions with gravy on that..mashed potatos and grilled veggies..it was WONDERFUL..kudos to the cook ..the gravy had a very good flavor and the potatos werent instant either. It was plenty for me as well..im on vacation from FLORIDA and i dont even bother looking for another place to eat..they have everything and its all good
Hill Street is a cozy diner with a vintage, rustic feel. The staff was nice and the food was decent. I ordered the biscuits & gravy with hash browns and eggs. Hash browns were pretty flavorless and definitely needed salt, but the biscuits were fluffy and the savory gravy was pretty tasty. The eggs were eggs. Hard to mess those up. All in all, the food was pretty food but a little pricey.
Amazing old school dinner !! The food here is AWESOME!! I had tonight the cheeseburger and fries. I could hardly fit my mouth around the cheeseburger. Leave the fries for later.
While visiting Burbank, my two daughters and I stopped by Hill Street Cafe, and it felt like we stumbled upon a true local gem. The place definitely has that cozy, neighborhood diner vibe, and the staff made us feel right at home. They were incredibly attentive, constantly checking in to make sure our drinks were topped off and we had everything we needed. We tried a mix of dishes — the ribeye steak and eggs, club sandwich, chicken enchiladas, and some onion rings — and honestly, everything was delicious. Generous portions, cooked just right, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of spot where you can tell they care about both the food and the people. Would definitely go back next time we’re in town!
Some of the best pancakes that I have had in a long time. I was really impressed with this diner and thought it was a great breakfast. Burbank has a lot of great and famous diners so the fact that this one sticks out in a good way really says just how good this place is. Parking is extremely easy, they have a very large free parking lot attached. Our server Alena was extremely polite and super fast with everything. They have a huge menu filled with all sorts of options and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also felt pricing was fair and you get a lot in terms of portion size. For my meal, I chose the Eggs San Francisco, which is basically an egg scramble with bacon and cream cheese, and I also added avocado, which I feel was a great addition. We also ordered the Pancake Combo which came with thick and delicious pancakes that were truly fantastic. I get pancakes often and these were some of the best that I’ve had in months. Overall, a great diner in a really retro and unique setting. They have a lot of different seating options indoors and I definitely plan to be back in the near future to try more items.
