Nam Coffee

Crema's Take
“Nam Coffee's dark roasts are expertly balanced—smooth and never bitter—whether you're ordering their signature Vietnamese coffee or a carefully poured pour over, and regulars are so devoted they've followed the roastery from its original Fountain Avenue location all the way to this new Chinatown outpost. The small, family-friendly shop moves quickly even on chaotic Saturday mornings, and the team genuinely cares about their community, offering thoughtful recommendations for other neighborhood gems while their fresh pastries pair perfectly with every cup. This is the kind of place where coffee lovers buy beans to take home and keep coming back because the quality is real.”

Excellent coffee and pastry with a side of great recommendations for other places in the area to visit and eat at!
Went on a Saturday morning when the Golden dragon parade was scheduled. The small coffee shop was packed and most of their baked goods sold out and there was no where to sit, but my order was taken quickly and I also received my drink fast. I ordered the salted cream matcha ube and it was good. I find most coffee shop drinks with salt unpleasant but this one was actually good. Hope to come again. They also have bathrooms available for customers.
Good coffee. Not overly sweet. Doesn’t have the caustic, burnt taste of dark roast even though it is. Normally drink black only but it was fine.
Not a first timer for Nam, as I have tried it in the other location and love it so I was super excited knowing they expanded their wings into Chinatown area. Parking wasn’t a friend but wouldn’t be a problem as I only stopped by for to-go order. They did have nice sit down space should you ever need to stop and hang. The menu selection was similar, with their signature Vietnamese coffee. If last time the pandan one got me hooked, this time I wanna bet on their Saigon Latte; said to be the lighter version of their Vietnamese coffee. I would say it’s great substitute for you who wanted less strong coffee flavor and subtle sweetness as well as creaminess. To the opposite, should you fancy way creamier and thicker option, give their Egg Coffee a try. Worry not about it being eggy as it wouldn’t given it’s more like custard. More on the sweet end, but I did love it.
The best Vietnamese coffee in the world. I love their original location on Fountain and I'm so excited to see Nam expanding and growing! It's always worth a visit. I also use their beans at home.
