34th Street Burgers + Deli

Fast forward 2 years 02/06/26: I have no idea why I came back here to have another BLT! I should have take an additional picture with the inside. I did open it up to see how much bacon, not that much bacon, the presentation with sloppy inside, hardly any mayonnaise and only on one side of the sandwich. Look, think of it this way: if they were making a BLT for themselves to eat, would they just pour a little slop of mayo on it and just cram the bacon in the middle of the bread? I think not! I make better BLTs at home! Also, the drink prices are highway robbery, and then they don't even give you free refills 5/24/24: for a bacon lettuce tomato sandwich and it was the most disgusting thing ever! I paid $14 for the combo and on the bacon they claim to layer the bacon on The BLT but they did not! There is only four measly looking old pieces of bacon! It grossed me out and I only ate 1/4 of the sandwich! 2022 It's been a year since I've been here. And I finally came to get a cheeseburger, I posted the picture, and the lettuce was not fresh! It was old and black on the edges and not even crisp. Very disappointed.

I really like this place. And not just cause I moved into an apt across the street, lol...I haven't tried any of their lunch fare but they're breakfast burritos are always delicious! Make sure to say yes to salsa ( its not hot), and please take a minute to appreciate the delicious HOMEMADE TORTILLAS! The ladies are always friendly and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my food with it usually being closer to the 5 minute mark. Can someone please explain why a deli on 23rd and 24th is called the 34th Street deli?? 🤔

Stopped by this location randomly. I ordered the recommended Monster burrito and a side of fries. Will definitely be coming back. The homemade tortillas are great, portions and prices are a good deal as well. Customer service was excellent.

I have tried MANY breakfast burritos in Bakersfield, and I have finally found the best one. For years, I have been searching for a breakfast burrito that actually tastes good and is not full of eggs. I have found it here at 34th Street Burgers and Deli. The monster burrito is full of meat and flavor! They make their flour tortillas by hand!!! This breakfast burrito beats those from Leo's, Taco (overhyped)bros, Fresco Mexican grill, Del Taco, El toro, and La Villa. Stop thinking about it and try it out. Again, it's the MONSTER Burrito.

Hey if you are making a stop for gas or a car wash there is a little deli counter inside the Sparklett’s Car Wash. So far I’ve only had their breakfast burritos which are HUGE!!! You get a lot of food for your money! And they taste great! Give them a try!
