This coffee shop is such a gem! The coffee is outstanding, rich, smooth, and made with locally roasted beans, which you can really taste in every cup. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the quality and the craft. The vibe is just as good as the coffee. It’s the kind of place where you can comfortably work quietly on your own, meet a friend to catch up, or even gather with a small group without it feeling overwhelming. Calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Sanctuary is one of my favorite places in Fresno! I love the vibe the music is easy on the ears. I take all of my best friends there for date and celebrations. Its a family and kid friendly. Spacious and free parking. Yummy Pastries and GREAT coffee! They have their own brand of coffee too!

A hidden gem! Really good coffee, esp the one with cardamom and saffron latte. Great atmosphere for reading and reliable wifi.

Welcoming, homey environment. Super clean and quiet. Comfortable seating: repurposed church pews make for great bench seating with good lower back support. Great for studying, reading, and writing. My brevé latte was very good. Pastries look amazing. The only reason for 4 stars is it is a cashless store- bring a credit or debit card. I imagine they do apple pay and all that jazz too. Men's bathroom is super clean.

Glad we found this coffee shop as we were heading home. Loved the simple menu and how spacious this shop is with plenty of seating and tables. We tried two drinks from their specialties and were impressed. Both the vienesse cappuccino and cardamom & saffron latte were delicious, with oat milk. We made the mistake and turned into the corner parking lot. But you'll find Sanctuary entering the following lot on Barstow. Give this local coffee shop a try.
