La Confection

Driving around catching up on all construction activity south of downtown, I thought a snack would be welcome so I googled "Bakeries near me" and La Confection popped up. Good reviews? OK, let's check it out. Wow! Just wow. Had a blueberry muffin and a cup of black coffee. The coffee was great, and the blueberry muffin was one of the best I can recall eating. There was a hint of something - a spice? Couldn't place it - that made the muffin stand out from the crowd. The place is very neat and clean, and attractively decorated. Very obvious that a great deal of effort and love has gone into creating it. They have a few tables seating two if you want to eat there. My new favorite place in OKC.

After a long early morning I really wanted to treat myself and my kiddos. La Confection was one of the first suggestions under "Coffee & Dessert". After trying a cookie and the dirty horchata iced coffee drink I can see why. It is a very welcoming shop and the woman who helped me was very kind. I arrived before all of the true goodies were ready so my kiddo picked out the cinnamon sugar cookies that were available. They were a good texture. Sweet without being too sweet. The coffee was very delicious and I will most likely be returning. The price tag was more than reasonable.

Stoped by today during my lunch break to bring some goodies back to the office & first of the staff was so kind & wow the double chocolate cupcakes are my favorite for sure!! I also got an ice coffee from here and not a lot of places can get my flavoring right but this place hit the spot!! Definitely will be coming back I’m so glad I was able to stop by today!

Lovely little bakery. We drove out of the way to stop glad we did. Lady working was so nice and helpful. We enjoyed the goodies we bought. And will return. They serve coffee drinks and dessert. You can dine in or take to go.

Holy Moly! Had a coworker bring me one of the pastires with fruit and a very good cream layered between two flakey cookies of some sort. A fruit tart from what I gather (pic attached) and dang it was good. Plus I hear they have pastries with chocolate on them??? I'm so there. Very tasty and will be looking to visit soon.
