Crema's Take
“Tucked away in Tacoma, this spot has mastered the art of hospitality with a playful mid-century vibe and staff that treats you like old friends—laughing, chatting, and making every visit feel special. Beyond the carefully crafted specialty drinks, they're earning serious love for unexpectedly stellar food, from Korean-BBQ pork sliders to generously portioned salads, making it as much a destination for brunch and snacks as for coffee.”

Wife absolutely loves this place. She gone a few times lately and is always to happy with the atmosphere and amazing drinks. I don know what was ordered tlneat last time but it was raved about.
First and definitely not the last time I'm heading to the BBR! Staff was stellar and friendly. Literal evening companions. We laughed, ate drank and shared cheer. Special shout out to Izzy, Nadine & David Lee Broth!
Hidden gem. Great food selection! We ordered some kind of korean-bbq style pork sliders, fries, & quesadilla... all 3 SO GOOD! Good happy hours prices!! Even for the drinks... I had a delicious pink Cadillac. Staff was friendly & attentive. I hear gets pretty packed at night but we went right after work on a Friday around 5pmish so there was no wait. I would recommend & will definitely return.
I think the vibe is supposed to be 50’s-60’s NYC, but the spray painted glitter on the walls starts to look tacky when the espresso martinis are $18 and taste like mold, your friend has to ask 3 different people to get a water, and the kitchen is closed so you only can get wings or fries (while you watch the table next you get a burger). Saving graces for two stars, two of our group enjoyed their drinks and the house made ranch dressing is really good. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the hype I’ve heard.
Excuse me, I believe I asked for the mini salad? Seriously, tasty food. When this heaping plate of salad arrived, I actually had to question if it was the small serving. I had this and a super creamy bowl of Beecher's mac. My husband's burger came with a generous portion of fries. We both loved our cocktails. Two servers were both attentive to us. The music was a nice chill vibe. Would happily come again!
