Crema's Take

Living In Stereo feels less like a coffee shop and more like hanging out in the home studio of two brothers who genuinely care about music, vintage gear, and good conversation—the coffee is just the excuse to linger while you browse their carefully curated collection of vinyl, vintage turntables, and eclectic finds. The owners' real passion is helping you find the perfect piece of audio equipment or record, and they'll happily troubleshoot your setup or share stories about old Austin while you nurse your cup. It's the kind of place where you might come in for coffee and leave with a 70s record player and new friends who actually know their stuff.

Mostly stereo equipment, but there are some records. Prices seem to be average to a little high. Friendly staff.

I went in a few weeks ago. Meeting the brothers who run it feels like getting a taste of old Austin. Go in look around, chat with the guys, and buy something. They have a great selection, and they provide fantastic conversation for free.

This little place was amazing, enjoyed talking to the owners and their knowledge of the Vintage gear and speakers was super helpful. They had some great vinyl and also a few CD's....I picked up a few on my want list. Was also impressed with their art and posters. This is a must see place for the music audiophile in the Austin Texas area!!!

These guys were so helpful in getting me a solid vintage Kenwood receiver for my record player. They also helped me troubleshoot the buzzing in the backgroun when I play vinyl. Their store is eclectic gives very Austin vibes. Would definitely recommend.

Such a cool shop - tons of vintage record players, art, records, furniture, and more! The owners are so cool, knowledgeable, and really helpful. We ended up buying a record player from the 70s and love the way it sounds. Don’t let the weird traffic keep you from getting there; there’s construction that irregularly shuts the roads down. Living in Stereo is the best - can’t wait for their coffee shop to open up next door!
