Caffeine

Crema's Take

Caffeine in Petaluma has carved out a devoted following with its knockout breakfast sandwiches and surprisingly excellent Cuban coffee drinks, particularly their café cubano and El Cubano, that keep locals coming back despite the occasional espresso misstep. The real draw is the inviting back patio with some of the best views in town—a genuine gathering spot where the relaxed, sit-awhile vibe and thoughtful light food make it feel less like a quick caffeine stop and more like discovering a neighborhood gem.

Overall not a terrible spot but the coffee was underwhelming. I ordered a mocha latte and it tasted like watered down hot chocolate. That being said the back patio has a really nice view and the food was pretty good despite being a bit overpriced at $18 for two slices of avacado toast. Basically a mid experience. I would only return if it was convenient.

Got the breakfast sando and an iced vanilla latte. 12$ for a super good breakfast sandwich and side of dressed arugula is a good deal! English muffin was not the flat kind it was thick and fry my and fluffy! Delicious. Vanilla latte was delish too (little pricey on the coffee but hey, coffee is expensive everywhere. 5 stars across the board! They also have blankets around each chair in case people get cold!

Caffeine Inc. is hands down my favorite local coffee spot in Petaluma, Sonoma County, California. As a small business owner, I love supporting fellow local businesses, and this place truly embodies the warmth and charm that make our community so special. The marina seating is such a vibe — sitting outside by the water makes it perfect for relaxing, people-watching, or meeting with clients. Their beverages are clearly handcrafted with care. The Dirty Chai has the perfect spicy kick, and the lattes are consistently done just right. The breakfast sandwich is fully loaded and satisfying, and the avocado toast is incredibly fresh with a delicious balsamic drizzle that takes it to the next level. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. I send people here all the time, and they end up loving it just as much as I do. It’s the perfect spot for coffee dates, casual meetings, or a peaceful moment by the marina. Supporting local never tasted so good — highly recommend!

You ARE missing out. avocado toast is the best one anywhere, you can fistfight me about it. I'll have the energy after drinking that El Cubano which was also good as hell. Out of the way but with a view of the water it's a destination in and of itself.

Wow I can’t believe we just discovered this amazing cafe. Best views in town. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Coffee was delicious. The café cubano was a sweet dream and the flat white was perfect. Coffee was smooth and perfectly presented. Staff was friendly and the owner was really welcoming. We went for a paddle and this was the perfect end to our time on the water.
