Crema's Take

Tucked inside Lucca's Pizza Shop, Kouklas Café is a warm, beautifully organized spot where the owners genuinely make you feel at home—expect genuine hospitality and a lovely ambiance perfect for lingering over coffee and conversation. Their strength lies in generous, thoughtfully plated breakfast dishes and traditional café drinks rather than fussy pastries, though you'll find the food consistently fresh and well-executed (just skip the cannoli). It's the kind of unpretentious neighborhood café where one person running the show somehow makes everything feel unhurried and welcoming.

The pizza was pretty good. The cannoli was the worst cannoli I have ever had. They dont make the shells and the ricotta cream was inedible. We asked for ranch on the side for our salad and they put it on the salad. Will not be coming back. Service was very slow. I also noticed they were serving a bottle of Charles Shaw (i.e. two-buck chuck) - that's a red flag.

Food was fantastic, the owners were very pleasant and welcoming. Beautifully organized store. 10/10 would come again! And I did! There is also a dessert/breakfast shop within the pizza shop, so you can kill two birds with one stone.

Kouklas Café is a charming little spot that instantly feels warm and inviting. The ambiance was lovely and beautiful. We tried the Breakfast Tower, which was beautifully presented and full of fresh, flavorful ingredients. For drinks, we enjoyed a Pistachio Rose Latte (floral and nutty in the best way), a Caramel Latte (smooth and perfectly sweet), and a comforting Chai Latte with just the right amount of spice. We were so full from breakfast that we decided to take some of their tempting pastries to go, so we could enjoy them later. Their coffee, food, and pastries all shine, and the staff’s warmth makes the visit even better.

At first I was skeptical as there was no real service, just one man working at the shop, no waiter. My Dad had recommended we come. Placed the order at the register and sat down. Ordered an Italian sandwich a pizza and a pasta dish. I have to say, it's the best sandwich I have ever had. The though was on point and the ingredients fresh. More arugula please, in all honesty it has a more than generous portion. Pizza was on point and the pasta sauce delicious. It's for sure a takeout place. And highly recommended!

Visited Kouklas Cafe for the first time today with my sisters. This cafe is located inside the Lucca’s pizza shop. I have been seeing this cafe for a while now on instagram and the IG posts did not lie, the cafe, the music and the ambiance are super cute. We ordered shakshuka, lahmajun, French toast and coffee of course. The taste of the food surprisingly was very good. The price of the food was a little on the pricey side but thankfully everything we ordered was delicious. The coffee decor is so girly with the flower petals and butterflies. The cafe is small however they have a patio seating as well. I think the owner was this nice lady with short dark hair, she was very welcoming. I liked everything about this place however I wish they would put some type of short wall between the cafe and the pizza area as the pizzeria section takes away from the cuteness of the cafe. Other than that I loved this place and would definitely recommend it to all of my family and friends.
