Kitty Hawk
1 Airport Service Rd, Nashville, TN
Crema's Take
“This airport outpost earns passionate praise for its espresso-focused coffee drinks and genuinely friendly service, making it a rare bright spot for coffee lovers caught between flights in Nashville. While reviews suggest sticking to what they do best—well-crafted cappuccinos and specialty coffee—the pastries and breakfast items seem hit-or-miss, so approach the food side with caution. It's the kind of place where a skilled barista can rescue your travel day, even if the full menu doesn't quite deliver across the board.”

Bad experience. Be leary of this place. Ordered sausage, egg breakfast bowl. Tasted awful and I ended up with FOOD POISONING. Had bad stomach cramps, vomiting and many, many bathroom breaks my entire 5 hr flight to Seattle and another 2 hrs to SFO. Worst case of food poisoning ever. This place needs health department involved. I pray no one else got sick. 12/21/25. Do not recommend this place. Over priced for 7 hours of hell. Service was chaotic as well.
This is a review ONLY for coffee. Seems like people have mixed experience with food. I am, unfortunately, a huge coffee snob. Which makes airports really hard for me because I would rather drink gas station coffee more than most airport coffee. So I’m here to tell you that the Kitty Hawk coffee was surprisingly good! Not the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had, but for sure the best airport coffee I’ve ever had. The lady behind the counter was super sweet too, and even pointed me the right direction for where to fill up my water bottle. Also the space was really cute! actually had some personality, unlike most airport fare. -got a Cubano, which is a latte with some sweetened condensed milk in it.
I had a cappuccino with a ham, egg and cheese on a croissant and it was good! It is overpriced for being a fast food tho
I stopped at Kitty Hawk during my time in the Nashville airport and had a mixed experience. The service was excellent—the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick, which made ordering and getting settled easy. Unfortunately, the food did not match the quality of the service. I ordered a sandwich that came with an egg, and it really missed the mark. The egg was thick and rubbery, almost to the point where it felt overcooked and heavy. It completely threw off the texture and taste of the sandwich, making it hard to enjoy. After a few bites, I realized I didn’t even need to finish it.
After a very long day of several airplane rides I stopped at this restaurant for a quick bite. The menu offered a variety of items. After asking the waitress for her recommendations, I choose a chicken type sandwich. It was good. Not what I would call a fantastic sandwich but overall it was good enough to eat and fill my empty stomach. The tots were overly seasoned in my opinion. It was a unique but I could only eat a few. The lady that works the front counter was incredibly nice and very helpful. She alone made the visit well worth the effort and money.
