Pausa Coffee

This is such a wonderful addition to syracuse. Their specials are unique and fun - I had the pistachio latte and loved the flavor. The dressed the whole place up for Christmas and it has the charm of an old school coffee shop. The staff is so warm and welcoming. Pausa is quickly becoming a favorite of mine for syracuse cafes and coffee!

It’s a great coffee shop with some good signature drinks. Tried 2 of them and loved both. Great people and service. Loved the ambience. Cozy and perfect to work, chill and relax. Must Visit

Such a welcome place in downtown Syracuse. Owner Laura has created a stylish atmosphere with a groove so on its own. Coffee. Wine. Small plates, with fun add ons make this place a more than just a trendy plane to meet, it's a much needed oasis from the tyranny of a work week, or work day. When we went they were celebrating their grand opening; a smart study opening with free limoncello and wine tasting, plus Gelato and balloon animals. Yes, balloon animals. I can't wait to come back to check our their full menu of small plates and chill. Do I see maybe some live jazz in the future? Perhaps.

Pausa is really cute, I’m excited to see it continue to grow! The design is very relaxing and elegant. I think the coffee & cocktails concept is unique and creative. I like how inviting the front of house is. I ordered a cherry danish and an iced latte with PH delight syrup. I ended up asking for a little extra syrup as the latte was a bit watery and not sweet enough, but it was much better once I got a little more in there! I enjoyed the danish, I think it probably could have been fresher though was still flavorful and satisfying. I would love to see Pausa make their own syrups and expand their seasonal drink section.

Wowow!! Not only is this place insanely gorgeous & cozy, the owner and staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They took the time to chat with us about the various drinks and where they source some of their ingredients from. Our drinks and danish were all delicious. My husband’s shot of espresso was one of the best he’d ever had. Highly recommend!!
