Crema's Take

This Buffalo gem brings the warmth of Ethiopian coffee traditions to Western New York with creative specialty drinks that feel genuinely thoughtful—think fruity pebbles lattes that taste like a cereal bowl and strawberry matcha concoctions that keep customers coming back. While their pastry execution can be inconsistent, the shop's excellent service and adventurous menu of signature drinks and matcha offerings make it worth exploring, especially if you're curious about drinks that go beyond the typical coffee shop playbook.

The strawberry matcha latte was great but the mango and raspberry desert was very disappointing. They both were frozen almost frost bite inside, thought it was supposed to a pastry, anyway made the items taste not so good but 45 dollars for 4 items. We at them. Definitely just a trend thing, I seen it on TikTok and learned from my lessons.

We got the raspberry croissant, strawberry matcha, and fruity pebbles latte. All the items and menus were very delicious sounding so it was hard to make a choice. The service was excellent. We definitely will be back!

First of all shout out to Step Out Buffalo for featuring this place. So not pictured but I did try the fruity pebble latte 10 out of 10. I got a small it truly tasted like a bowl of fruity pebbles before it goes soggy 😂. Very nostalgic💗. Now, as you can see, I got two of the pastries. I only tried one so I’m going to give you a review of the heart shaped one pictured only. Not the best photos. I was trying to rush before my husband came in the house and asked for some 🙄😂. I don’t have anything to compare it to because it was my first time having it, but I can say it was not super sweet, which I truly appreciate it was very well balanced with the sweetness. The moose was soft and velvety the little cake in the middle is very soft and moist. I do like the shell part (I get my ice cream dipped in cherry or chocolate at DQ) and the strawberry filling that’s in the absolute center was a very pleasant surprise because you wouldn’t think it was in there like it’s literally in the center of the pastry. Now for the atmosphere, although I got my items to go it is a very nice atmosphere for a quick little coffee date or some personal time just to have a latte I would suggest sitting by the window so you can people watch if that’s your thing but very nice vibe very nice aesthetics and very nice staff. So definitely go check them out. I will be back to try more items soon.

I visited Mokha Reserve Café recently and had a mixed experience. The Adani tea was good and enjoyable, but unfortunately the Bee Bite was disappointing. It didn’t seem fresh—the bread was hard and dry. Also, the attitude of the person who took our order wasn’t very welcoming, which affected the overall experience. With better service metallic cutlery and fresher food, this place could be much better.

Visited yesterday and everything was amazing! I got a coffee dessert-similar to the fruit shaped desserts that have been getting popular recently-and it was so good! I also got a cherry blossom refresher which was amazing, probably one of the best drinks I’ve had in a while. Loved the stuff I got so much that I got a second drink to-go, which was a cherry vanilla matcha. The cherry and vanilla flavors popped in the drink, which is amazing because sometimes I feel like flavored matchas lose a bit of the other flavors. The lady working was also very nice as well! Overall, highly recommend!
