Crema's Take

Lucy's on Lighthouse is a quirky, dog-friendly spot in Pacific Grove where creative hot dogs reign supreme—think mac and cheese with brisket and kimchi varieties—alongside surprisingly good coffee and ice cream. The vintage surf and skate decor creates an undeniably fun atmosphere perfect for lingering outdoors, though expect to pay a premium for the experience and occasional inconsistency in execution. It's the kind of place that wins hearts with its playful spirit and adventurous menu, even if it doesn't always nail every order.

Best Hotdog everything! Mac and cheese with brisket to die for and the Brussels sprouts OMG. Definitely recommend it.

Loved the kitsch! Surfboards and skateboards dominate the decor. The hot dogs were good, but came out lukewarm. Dog friendly.

Dropped by this restaurant this afternoon for a lunch visit after hearing great things. Both my husband and I very much enjoyed our dogs. Chili meat on the Dunes was a bit overcooked (burnt bits) and the hot Cheetos dust on the Otters are definitely a little stale. We enjoyed our meal (tots were indeed crispy and tasty) and would return if in the area. Agree with other reviews that the meal is pricey (40 bucks for two people is pretty steep for two hot dogs and tater tots). Response: typically I don’t do this, but sure, let’s go. Yeah ok, we ordered two cans of soda too. The shady correction on the pricing is still shady. We paid $40. Sales tax is real, but it’s like a $10 hot dog. Given that the chili was burnt and toppings stale, I think that’s important in the review. I know you won’t really miss us, but all the same we’ll forego coming back. Happy new year.

A fun place with lots of creative hot dogs, sides, and ice cream and coffee, so why 3 stars? 1) it's pricy! $12 average for a small dog, with no sides or drink? 2) only a sub-par (soft boiled tasteless) veggie dog as an alternative non beef option. How about turkey dogs for those that don't want to eat red meat or intelligent animals? 3) it's SLOW! It took 20-30 minutes for 2 hot dogs, lemonade took 15 minutes to come out. I want to love this place, and I'm willing to revisit and come back, but some basic changes would have to happen to have it live up to its huge potential as a cool, fun locals hang-out for the area!

Recommended by friends and we knew of it from driving by and wanting to check out their outdoor seating. The selection of hot dogs was amazing. From Mac and cheese, pulled pork to kimchi, you’ll find things you never even knew you’d love on a hot dog. The dogs all by themselves are delicious! Do not, DO NOT skip the tots! Crispy and the toppings are fantastic. We also had the Brussels sprouts. We look forward to returning here again!
