Dragonfly Donuts

I LOVE DONUTS & I LOVE THIS DONUT SHOP!! I'm not from CA, but have worked here for the last 4 years. From San Diego to Sacramento Dragonfly Donuts is the BEST! I came in yesterday and asked the gentleman, Leo, if they had a maple donut w/nuts, they didn't but said if i came back today he'd make some for me. I showed up today and Leo delivered his promise 🙂. Just the absolute best croissant sandwich I have ever tried. The glaze doughnut was so yummy too. Super friendly guy behind the counter. Please try this place. I highly doubt anyone would regret it.

I have been visiting this location for donuts since the 80s. It's been through several incarnations and owners in that time. This is the best one. The donuts are all fluffy with that fresh crispness. I love that the frostings are made with a couple extra flavors than the traditional chocolate, maple, or glazed. The strawberry frosting doesn't taste too strong or fake. At the right time of the day, the apple fritters are still warm which is utterly fantastic. The sandwiches are always made fresh and piping hot.

Easily the best donuts / doughnuts in the Greater Sacramento Area. Quality ingredients, and great breakfast croissants. Update: The husband and wife that run this donut shop are adorable, they are recent parents with an adorable newborn. I am a regular customer who purchases croissants and donuts weekly, last week I dropped my croissant all over the ground and the owner offered a free replacement, I did not take him up on it given the time frame, but the next time I went in they gave me a free croissant. I explained that they definitely did not need to do that, and that I would happily pay, but they did not let me pay and give it to me free. Stellar customer service, stellar food, stellar donuts.

This place opened up by my work so I wanted to stop by and check it out. I first notice it's very clean and aestheticly pleasing. The donuts look fresh and delicious but what really caught my eye was this mouthwatering cinamon roll. I also grabbed a Peet's coffee and an egg and cheese croissant. The breakfast sandwhich was fresh and warm and on par for an egg and cheese. It hit the spot! The cinnamon roll I took back to the office. It reheated well and was everything I like in a cinnamon roll. I was afraid it would be too sweet but it was perfect, the glaze was sweet but had a nice balance. They also gave me a free donut that was put in my bag but I haven't the room for that yet. Definitely recommend supporting this local buisness!
