Oh Yeah Banh Mi
2101 S Grand St, Seattle, WA
Crema's Take
“I notice this appears to be a Vietnamese banh mi shop rather than a specialty coffee destination, which makes it outside Crema's typical focus. However, if I were to describe it: Oh Yeah Banh Mi in Seattle's International District has earned its stellar reputation through genuine hospitality and impeccably executed classics—owner Kim's personal warmth sets the tone for a spotless, cozy space where crispy-outside, soft-inside baguettes arrive loaded with generously portioned, richly seasoned fillings. It's the kind of neighborhood gem that works equally well as a quick grab or a lingering meeting spot, and their customizable catering boxes have clearly won over the community for everything from casual lunches to major events.”

"Oh Yea Banh Mi has officially become my catering MVP! 🥪 If you're looking to wow a crowd, their customizable meal boxes are a total game-changer for large events—don't even think about planning your next meeting without them. The sandwiches? Absolute A+ perfection. They’ve also leveled up the menu with authentic Pho noodle soup that has been a massive hit with my team. Round it all off with their refreshing smoothies or boba teas, and you’ve got the ultimate office spread. Trust me, your coworkers will thank you!"
My first time at Oh Yeah Banh Mi and wow… I’m already planning like ten more visits. The place has 5-star hype all over the internet, and honestly, the cozy, spotless shop alone convinced me to walk in. I grabbed a Grilled Pork and a Lemongrass Beef banh mi to go, and let me tell you—the bread is next-level crispy. Probably the best I’ve had in Seattle. They even wrap it up nicely, plus the to-go bag is cute, which I totally appreciate. One bite and you can taste the quality. The meat is juicy, perfectly seasoned, not dry or heavy at all. The owner was super friendly and even offered a sample of their best-seller coffee. The salted foam? Creamy perfection. It seriously levels up their Vietnamese coffee made with a mix of arabica and robusta beans. I’m definitely coming back to try more drinks (I already had a coffee in my car, so I had to behave). So glad I stopped by—this place just became one of my must-stop spots whenever I’m in town!
I visited Oh Yeah Banh Mi recently and had a great experience. I ordered 2 Bánh Mì along with two drinks, and everything hit the spot. The baguette was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the fillings were fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. The drinks were tasty and not overly sweet, which paired perfectly with the sandwich. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, and the place felt clean and welcoming. Overall, it's a solid spot for authentic, delicious bánh mì—I’ll definitely be coming back!
Oh Yeah Banh Mi – International District, Seattle As a neighbor, I had to check out Oh Yeah Banh Mi, and I’m so glad I did. Owner Kim welcomed me with genuine hospitality, offering samples and sharing her passion for the menu. 🌸 🥪 Banh Mi: I tried the lemongrass beef banh mi. The bread was crisp, the herbs were fresh, and the flavor balanced nicely. Personally, I wished for a stronger lemongrass kick and more sauce to elevate the beef, but overall it was satisfying and light. If you like bold, saucy sandwiches, ask for extras. 🍋 Tea: The fermented lemon ginger tea was unlike anything I’ve had. Instead of tasting medicinal, it had a sweet, almost sugar-like finish—unexpected but not my thing. ☕ The MVP – Vietnamese Coffee: The star here is without question the Vietnamese iced coffee. Bold, creamy, smooth, and unforgettable—it’s the kind of drink that explains why Vietnamese coffee is a cultural staple. One sip and you’ll understand why it’s the talk of the neighborhood. 🌿 Atmosphere: From lotus murals to orchids and a sunlit dining area, the space feels vibrant yet relaxed—perfect for a coffee stop or casual lunch. ✨ Final Take: This is where Seattle foodies should come for standout Vietnamese coffee, a fresh take on banh mi, and a warm welcome from a local business rooted in the International District. #SeattleEats #VietnameseCoffee #SeattleFoodie #BanhMiSeattle #InternationalDistrictSeattle #SeattleCoffeeCulture #HiddenGemsSeattle
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oh Yeah Banh Mi is truly an amazing spot to enjoy authentic Vietnamese sandwiches! The banh mi here has a very special flavor the fillings are generous, the seasoning is rich, and it leaves a lasting impression after just one bite. The bread is crispy but not too hard, while the fillings combine perfectly with the meat, vegetables, and sauce to create a balanced and flavorful taste. Not only the sandwiches, but the drinks here are also impressive. They’re fresh, light, and well-balanced – not overly sweet, leaving a refreshing feeling after drinking. The shop is clean, the staff are friendly, and the service is quick. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. This is definitely one of the best banh mi places I’ve ever tried. Absolutely worth coming back many times!
