Crema's Take

Tucked into Spokane's dining scene, this welcoming spot strikes an impressive balance between a quick caffeine run and a lingering breakfast destination, earning consistent praise for generous, well-executed morning fare like their standout Meat Man scramble and biscuits and gravy. The real magic happens in the details—friendly servers who genuinely make your day brighter, thoughtful background music, and an unpretentious atmosphere that feels like a step above the typical diner, where families and meeting-minded folks alike find themselves lingering longer than expected.

I had the Meat Man scramble and my friend had the same with a side of biscuits and gravy.... AWESOME! Highly recommend their breakfasts! Kaleena and Sofia were the best servers and made the morning perfect!

Stopped at this spot due to the reviews. The food, service and atmosphere were all good. Love the background music. The food is good not great. Geared to please all but missing the mark for great. We tried the regular eggs Benedict, and biscuits, and gravy, has browns and egg. We also had chi tea and a mocha. There were so many choices in the menu but we went for what received high marks on previous reviews. Large parking lot, wheel char accessible, children friendly.

Not a bad place. I'd say it's a step up from Denny's kind of remind me of a village inn. Good quality. Nice people. Decent food

We were visiting Spokane from western MT and went to Kalico based off reviews! It did not disappoint! The wait time was fast, the service was even faster and the food was delicious! All the waitresses were sweet and super friendly too! Everything was delicious! I had the hungry man breakfast, and my husband had the Monte Cristo! I would definitely go back!

My partner and I were in dire need of a restaurant that provides affordable lunch/breakfast options in the Spokane area. My partner was hesitant on the $10 price tag for her mimosa because so many other places have disappointed with a bad ratio of champagne and orange juice; upon taking the first sip of her drink, we knew we found a place that excelled in quality. She said, “You can tell the orange juice is fresh squeezed, and it’s worth every penny”. My latte gave the same impression. Sometimes I worry about a menu that’s as big as what Kalico offers. Can a restaurant really excel in every dish? Our first taste made me have confidence and faith that this kitchen staff really can cook every dish well. The food — put this place over the top for us. We both enjoyed our meals and our server, Heidi, made the experience worthwhile.
