Crema's Take

This Charlottesville gathering place feels less like a coffee shop and more like the community's living room, where you're as likely to catch a live band or French class as you are to settle in with a slow pour-over. The welcoming atmosphere draws everyone from couples on dates to seniors finding their people, all while the spacious, thoughtfully-designed venue makes both intimate conversations and larger celebrations feel equally at home. It's the kind of place where locals genuinely want to spend time, not just grab and go.

The absolute best facility in C'Ville. Very accommodating and welcoming. Other venues make you feel like you owe them something even after you've paid for the their venues. Hold your events here, birthdays, wedding receptions, business meetings, pretty much anything. Oh.....tons of parking too.

That's some extremely greedy pocketing costs on junk food for what they offer. They charge $18 for some lasagna and a salad as an event ? We can take our relatives to a buffet closeby for $16 some at Hibachi. Play some music anywhere that has a border and bring cushions for park style benches as anything goes run of the mill Cville. Bring an umbrella for sun and you got plenty. They are ran by some hospital and hooked up with region ten nonsense so they don't support a person's autonomy. Protect your seniors independence and get them some fun.

The center has been an absolutely wonderful experience for my wife's parents. They're both in their '80s and there are plenty of interesting things there for them. She loves the French class, and he has been enjoying one of the balance and stability classes and the gym, and also a discussion group. There are activities for very active people and classes and activities geared for people who have a little bit more limited mobility. I would recommend it to anyone from age 50 on up! We have especially enjoyed many of the music offerings they have in the atrium. I posted a couple pictures of the gym, but the center's website has all the details that you would need to see. Enjoy!
