Crema's Take

This beloved Cuban bakery is where Cape Coral comes for authentic cortaditos and fresh-baked pastries in a genuinely warm, family-run atmosphere—the kind of place where staff will replace your coffee with a smile if you spill it. The pan con bistec and Cuban sandwiches are solid, but people really come back for the buttery pastries and that perfect small-batch Cuban coffee with milk that tastes like home. It's reasonably priced, unpretentious, and packed with the kind of genuine hospitality that makes a morning coffee feel like a real moment, not just a transaction.

What to expect

Great, food, great service and great people. My mom accidentally spilled her coffee and staff quickly rushed in to clean up and replace her coffee free of charge. Pan con bistect is great, their “special house” croquetas are so good! Highly recommend.

I’ve been here a couple of times, and the place looks clean, but the atmosphere is not so much. I usually come here for a quick “Cortadito,” which is a small Cuban coffee with milk and a guava pastry. There are usually one to two people waiting for their quick order as well, but…
