What a lovely place to stumble upon! Gosh from the friendliness to the flat out amazing coffee you couldn't ask for better place to call home for a little while. They even have cabin rentals! My minda is slipping and can not remember the name of the young man that was working both times we stopped in. He even gave my daughter a bracelet he handmade! The sweetest! Will always be on our list to hit when coming through! Thank you! Oh and farm fresh eggs with the delicious breakfast sandwiches! How sweet is that?!?
I visited this coffee shop yesterday for the first time because of the high reviews and I enjoy supporting local. I normally order hazelnut lattes but saw that there was a specialty latte with hazelnut and chocolate on the menu, so I thought I would give it a whirl. As I was waiting for the drink, I noticed the barista was looking perplexed and finally grabbed an ingredient and added it to my drink. Instead of telling me he was out of hazelnut he just poured almond flavoring in and hoped I wouldn’t notice. I asked if he was out of hazelnut and if he added almond flavoring to my drink - only then did he sheepishly say yes and ask if that was ok. If he had simply told me he was out of an item I would have happily picked something else. Instead he chose to be deceptive and tried to slip something else by. I don’t know why he didn’t feel like he couldn’t just tell the truth. Disappointing. I’ll go to Indian Gardens Cafe next time instead of giving my business here.
Fresh cookies😍 coconut macadamia & chocolate chip. Picked up a sticker too🥲😍
On our way to Sedona from Flagstaff via the 89A scenic route. As we navigated the curves, we came upon the Oak Creek Coffee House. We made a quick turn around and headed back to the shop for some coffee. Once we inside, we were promptly greeted by the barista. He was very polite and friendly as he took our order. While we waited, we grabbed some snacks and a turkey and Swiss sandwich for later. We also toured the back room area and took a look at their additional merchandise. All in all we are very happy to have stopped in at the Oak Creek Canyon Coffee House. ((PS: get some info on the cabins--it looks like a great place for a getaway.))
Such a lovely little place!! The coffee is excellent and Tre is a lovely host.
