The Workshop

Crema's Take

Tucked between Wrightsville and Wilmington, The Workshop earns its reputation as a beloved beachside pit stop with genuinely excellent breakfast and a cozy interior that invites lingering over coffee. The outdoor seating and early hours make it perfect for catching the morning before heading to the beach, though fair warning: service can be stretched thin during rush times, so arrive early or go solo to fully enjoy the experience. This is where locals go when they want real, well-executed food and coffee in a spot that actually feels like a place to settle in, not just grab and go.

We were taking a walk near the beach and craving something refreshing so we decided to stop by The Workshop. The interior is cute and cozy. There's outdoor seating available, which is a great option for beach weather. My smoothie and sandwich came out quickly and everything tasted great. The Workshop was the perfect little pitstop. Great drinks and food, fast service, and a charming atmosphere.

Food and coffee are mid at best. Insanely expensive, service can be inconsistent. Go to Drift or Spoonfed if u actually need sustenance. If you really wanna spend $50 on a quick breakfast for 2, go to Adapt.

Great spot for a coffee break when doing "the loop" or on your way to the beach. Food and coffee were really good and nice spot outside to chill.

Bagel is super thin and they can’t handle any more than 2 guests at a time. Just be warned if you go during rush hours. Lost my order, took forever, seemed swamped and frustrated but there was only 4 people here 🤷‍♂️ When I followed up with my bagel after waiting 45 min they said “ good thing you checked” and again.. there’s only 4 people here..

Killer breakfast… As you see by my photos, the food is excellent. If I would’ve known it was that delicious I would’ve ordered a few more options to go… located in between Wrightsville and Wilmington. It’s a great location with parking. they also have tables with umbrellas outside to enjoy the morning air and have a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend will definitely be back when I’m in the area.
