Crema's Take

Gasoline Street Coffee transforms a historic Pittsburgh loading dock into an unexpectedly cool gathering spot where meticulous craft meets creative flair—think hand-made syrups and car-themed drink names that rival the quality of what's actually in your cup. Whether you're ordering their legendary ube white mocha, a perfectly executed caravan latte, or just grabbing a cold brew, the care that goes into both the coffee and the eclectic, modern atmosphere makes this a destination worth the detour, not just a quick caffeine stop.

Always one of my favorites when I visit Pittsburgh. I last was in town in October and the ube white mocha was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Forever recommend!

I absolutely love this coffee spot! The space, transformed from an old loading area, has such a cool and modern atmosphere. The coffee itself is top notch; my first cup was so good that I immediately went for another. A visit here is a must every sip and every detail make it worth your time!

Just moved here, and this was the first coffee shop that we went to while being here and wow- would come back AND am planning to come back and do my work out of this shop. Great atmosphere, really unique and my cappuccino was OUTSTANDING- it was beautiful the foam was perfect and the flavor from the espresso was top tier. I also got a tomato spinach egg bagel sandwich- and I know it doesnt sound like much but it was freshly made and you can't beat that it was absolutely delicious. Great conversations with the staff, great recommendations- my boyfriend got a pumpkin caramel cold brew which the syrups are made in house which is always a plus and it was STUNNING thank you thank you thank you 🙂

We didn’t get food but the caravan latte was great! Their syrups are made in house and they have great names for their drinks. The combos for their lattes and specialty drinks are related to cars and fuel stations which is fun. They were a 6 minute walk from our hotel. Definitely worth the trip!

This might just be my new favourite coffee shop in pittsburgh. It’s a bit out of the way for me, so it was definitely a pain coming here, but it was worth it. The decor is eclectic and almost feels like as if you are in a combination of a museum and a scrapyard. There is plenty of space to sit and relax. I had the special coffee with cinnamon, and it was one of the best coffee based drinks that I had in a long time. The barista was extremely nice and patient. They also have a couple of board games that you could play as some other people were. I guess I would love to come here with a book and read. Definitely recommend this place.
