Crema's Take
“Chez Elle whisks you away to Paris without leaving Kansas City, serving exceptional crêpes both sweet and savory alongside carefully prepared coffee in a charming, authentically Parisian atmosphere. The thoughtfully curated menu spans from the iconic Tour Eiffel crêpe to creative farmers market offerings, with plenty of vegetarian options and a full breakfast menu that keeps locals and visitors returning again and again. Whether you're settling in for a slow sit with friends over wifi or grabbing a pastry at the counter, the genuinely warm service and inviting indoor-outdoor spaces make this feel less like a tourist spot and more like a beloved neighborhood discovery.”

The first time a friend brought me to Chez Elle was such a delight that I urged my family to visit when we came back into town recently. They loved it. Our favorite crêpes are the Tour Eiffel and Citron. The space is beautiful, clean, and has an authentically parisian aesthetic. Kudos to the management and staff for bringing to life a wonderful concept in the heart of Kansas City!
Kansas City friends if you want to feel like you’ve taken a quick trip to Paris without leaving town, Chez Elle is a must-visit 🇫🇷☕️🥞 This Parisian-themed crêperie and coffee shop truly feels like a little European escape right here in KC. The space is adorable, cozy, and perfect for brunch, lunch, or even a relaxed happy hour. The atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit. The menu has so many options that it was honestly hard to choose everything sounded amazing. We went for brunch and started with a latte, which was absolutely perfect, and ordered a mix of sweet and savory crêpes. Every single one was delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The biggest surprise was the lobster bisque easily one of the best we’ve ever had. Great food, charming vibe, and a unique experience overall. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to and recommending to friends. (You can see my full video review on Instagram & TikTok: @NEYANVENTURES)
A huge menu of sweet and savory choices, vegetarian options too. Great coffee and friendly service. Clean bathrooms, indoor and outdoor seating available. Street parking only as far as I could tell. If you go early, there’s no wait, but if you’re going on a Sunday after church hours- you better reserve a table or be prepared to wait.
Cute atmosphere, friendly staff and great crepes. What more can you ask for. Tried the Farmers market crepe (savory crepe) and the it was an interesting spin from the sweet style crepe but I still enjoyed it. Also tried the tiramisu crepe and that was pretty good too.
If you haven't been here yet, you definitely should try it. The place was packed on a subzero morning, which is usually indicative of good food, but I was not prepared for the culinary masterpieces I ate that morning. The coffee tasted freshly roasted, the crepes were beautifully presented, and service was fast - though we were lucky to find a seat when we did. If we're ever in town for breakfast again, we will be back.
