J'aime French Bakery
212 S 12th St, Philadelphia, PA
Crema's Take
“J'aime brings genuine French bakery tradition to Philadelphia with an owner who insists on authentic standards in every detail, from the rich but perfectly balanced hot chocolate to the buttery, flaky pastries that locals rave about. Beyond the exceptional baked goods, you'll find thoughtfully crafted coffee drinks—their cappuccinos and mochas are made with real care—making it equally rewarding whether you're grabbing a croissant on your way out or settling in for a slower coffee moment. The welcoming, clean space manages to feel both cozy and elegant, perfect for solo coffee contemplation or meeting friends over quiche and pastries.”

Welcoming and clean! Best quiche lorraine I have ever had. Cappuccino was perfectly made. Great location
Fast service, wide selection of baked goods! I got the almond croissant, mushroom and spinach quiche, olive oil cake, mocha, and cappuccino. The staff were friendly and the food and drinks came out super quick and delicious. Would come again.
Sooo cute! The chocolate eclair was fab and so was the hot chocolate. Both very chocolatey, but the eclair was dark chocolate so not overwhelmingly sweet. My dad also got the olive cake which he loved but I didn’t get the chance to try because he shoveled down immediately. The interior is spacious and sits many people comfortably. It has a very adorable look to it. Staff are also incredibly friendly and sweet. The food came out as quick as possible, and the beverages followed not shortly after. A woman with very impressive hoop earrings served us and was very kind.
This is an authentic French bakery, the owner is from France and makes sure everything is to the utmost standards. The hot chocolate is quite unique and they let you try it first because it’s not as sweet or watery like others but very rich and flavorful. Lots of seating if you want to take your laptop
Arguably the best French cafe I've been to in the US for a while. The hot chocolate is decadent but not too sweet unlike poor imitations of French hot chocolate. The chocolate croissant pretzel was flaky, light, and had a good amount of chocolate. Blueberry Danish also surprisingly had a complex flavor. The store itself was super cute.
